Another uninteresting day ended for Ji Hae. She was walking down the school’s corridor with her head low as usual. Students chattered around the school but none of them paid any attention to her. Finally, she reached the school’s gate when some playful boys unexpectedly ran through her, causing her books to fall out of her arms. She was about to pick her things up when someone suddenly helped her do it. She gazed up and saw the face of the guy who was helping her. Oh Sehun?!

She bent down to pick up the rest of her things from the floor. “Thank you, S-sehun-ssi.” She politely bowed to him but as usual, she was ignored. She felt her hopes of having a friend crumble as her smile wavered.

“Oh! Here it is!” Sehun picked up a coin that was under her pile of books and placed it inside his pocket. “Let’s go! Who will match with me later at the arcades?” He went back to his friends and slung an arm around one of them. They casually walked to where their expensive car was waiting.

Sehun sat at the backseat of the car together with his buddies- JongIn, Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

“Dude, who was that girl you helped awhile ago?” Kyungsoo, who was sitting at the driver’s seat, suddenly asked him.

“Hm? That? I don’t know.” Sehun shrugged. “I just intended to pick up my lucky coin. I don’t even know we have a student like her in school.” He leaned back on the car’s seat and plugged his earphones on his ears.

“Let’s go? I want a bubble tea treat from Sehun when he loses. That’s his promise!”Suho who was beside Kyungsoo, in the conversation. Everybody in the car laughed and they went straight to where they planned to go.

Meanwhile, Ji Hae was still left standing alone at the middle of the school’s main entrance. Students passed by her like she is just a wind or just a part of the environment. I really thought someone has finally recognized my presence. Maybe I am wrong. This world had always neglected me.
