Lay's Memory

EXO SKITS!!

One bright and sunny day EXO were heading to the airport. They were going to America for their first participation in a

concert. To say they were nervous would be an understatement.

However before arriving in America, they faced a dilemma.

His name is Lay.

“Lay why don’t you and LuLi go get the snacks for the trip.” Suho waved a hand at them, shooing them away. He wanted

snacks, yet he was too lazy to get it himself. They had arrived at the airport a half hour ago and were now waiting for the

plane to start boarding.

“Why do I have to do it?” Lay groaned, he hadn’t slept much the night before from all the practicing. The last thing he wanted

to do at the moment was get off his and go on an errand run.

“Because you are the best at picking out snacks, duh.” Suho said, not looking up from his phone.

“Well then why am I going?” LuLi wined. She didn’t want to go just as much as Lay if not more. “I don’t know anything about

Korean snacks.”

“You’re the youngest.” He stated simply. “Now go both of you.”

Groaning and complaining the whole time, the two of them stood up and walked away. The airport is huge, easy to get lost

in and hard to be found in. As the two walked around the airport searching for the snack shop, various people who

recognized them squealed and snapped pictures. Lay smiled and bowed to whoever showed interest in him. He was

always so kind and respectful. LuLi on the other hand was still awkward with all the attention. She awkwardly tried to hide on

the other side of Lay, out of the attention of the fans staring at them.

“Smile and wave.” Lay nudged her. He was now speaking to her in Chinese. LuLi’s Korean wasn’t that great yet, so she

tended to have to ask for a lot of help from the other Chinese members.

LuLi peeked around Lay and did just what he told her to do.

Finally, after what seemed like hours of walking, they arrived at the snack shop. They looked around; picking various things

that looked good. Lay loved to snack so he was an expert at this kind of shopping. LuLi picked some candies and chips,

hoping her members like to eat these kinds.  They shopped until they could no longer carry anything else in their arms and

mouths.

“Are you going to pay for all of this?” Lay asked, looking down at the small girl next to him as the lady behind the counter

scanned all the food.

LuLi shook her head and smiled at him. “You’re the oppa. You should be the one to do it.” Lay’s face dropped and he

almost fainted when the lady told him the amount he’d have to pay. He slowly pulled out his wallet and held his card out to

the lady.

“They better like these snacks.” Lay muttered, frowning as he got his card back.

“Thank you oppa!” LuLi hugged him around the waist before grabbing two of the bags full of the snacks. Lay grabbed the

other two and they headed out of the snack shop. “Ok, let’s head back now. We should be boarding soon.” Lay looked

around, confused. He circled, looking this way and that. “Which way Lay?” LuLi turned around and smiled at him.

He nervously rubbed the back of his neck. “I thought you were paying attention to where we were going…” he bit his lip and

looked at the girl.

“I thought you were! You knew where the snack shop was. Don’t you remember how to get back?”

Lay thought long and hard. He squinted his eyes and touched a finger to the side of his head. Trying to remember. Think,

think, THINK. “Nope, not a clue.”

“You mean we are lost?”

“Basically.”

LuLi’s mouth dropped in shock and she huffed. “Do you have any idea what a BAD place this is to get lost in?”

Lay smiled at her and instantly any annoyance she had with him vanished.  She could never stay mad at this boy no matter

how hard she tried. He was just too innocent and sweet all the time. A bit of an air head at times and forgetful, but still such a

sweetheart. “I have an idea!”

They stood in front of a map on the wall. They stared at it with their eyes spaced out and their mouths hanging out. The map

was HUGE. And worse than that…

IT WAS IN KOREAN!

“Oppa what does that word mean?” LuLi pointed at a Korean word she was unfamiliar with.

Lay stared at the word for a second before shrugging, “My Korean isn’t much better than yours.”

“Great! We are lost in a KOREAN airport, with only KOREAN signs, and we don’t speak said language.” LuLi groaned and

stomped her feet in annoyance. “The plane is going to leave without us.”

Lay found a security guard and ran up to him. “Sir we are lost. We need help.”

The security guard stared at the two of them. “Where do you need to go?”

Lay and LuLi stared at each other and then at the security guard. Where were they going again? They couldn’t even

remember where they were going! Was it to Europe? Japan? Where were they going?!

LuLi threw herself on the floor and groaned in annoyance. “We are going to hell!” she whined in Chinese and kicked her

legs like a little child who just got told they had to go clean their room. The security guard took one last look at the two before

walking off.

Lay knelt down in front of LuLi grinning from ear to ear as he held the bag of snacks up in the air. “At least we won’t starve!”

LuLi grinned back at him and giggled. “Oh right. I forgot about the snacks.” Lay sat down on the ground next to her and

pulled out a bag of lollipops. He gave one to her and stuck one in his mouth for himself.

People started walking by the two of them, confused as to why two grown-ups were sitting on the ground in the middle of the

floor eating lollipops and giggling to themselves.

The security guard came back to them with a mike in his hand that was connected to the speakers all around the airport. He

handed the mike to the two on the floor. “Tell your guardians to come get you.”

“Did he say ?” LuLi asked Lay in Chinese.

“No I think that’s a different word.” Lay took the mike from the man and cleared his throat before speaking into it. “Ah, ah,

ah….” He cringed a little bit, thinking of the wrath of Suho and how much the members would make fun of him later. “Hyung?

Can you come get us?” he sounded like a little kid asking his parents to come pick him up from school. “We’re lost.

Everything is in Korean…”

LuLi and Lay continued to sit there on the ground in everyone’s way. They giggled together and ate some of the snacks

happily. They told each other cheesy jokes and even started mimicking some of the other members.

“I am so Hot and talented. You wish you were me,” LuLi mocked Kris, matching her voice to his.

Lay cracked up and mimicked Chanyeol by widening his eyes as far as he could and grinning from ear to ear, “I AM THE

HAPPY VIRUS! I’M ON DRUGS! HAHAHAHA!” LuLi almost choked on the chip she was currently eating. She was laughing

so hard that she fell over, clutching her side. Lay joined her, proud of his funny that he had made.

However their smiles dropped when they saw Suho standing in front of them with his hands on his hips, glaring down at the

two.

“Seriously?” Suho helped the two of them up and turned back around towards the direction of their terminal. “I will never ask

you two to go get snacks ever again.”

“Good, because we don’t want to anymore either.” LuLi stated, putting a cookie in and squealing gleefully at the

delicious taste of it.

Lay pouted, “Yah, you weren’t the one who had to pay for all these. I almost fainted from that triple digit.”

Suho shook his head and smiled, “Now you know how I feel.”
