macchiato-'s note:
+-600 views only, really? But this story is a masterpiece! Psychological stories aren't rare nowadays; suicides are starting to get cliche; but here in the spirit of the staircase, Quicksand tries to deliver one's distinctive perception in regard to loss. In most cases, suicide would be the only thing a depressed person ended up doing but that's not what you're going to find in this story (at least not in Sehun). Like what the description says, Sehun, here, wants to cheat death. Jongin's there to help him (unwillingly). Whether or not Sehun wins the battle, figure it out yourself.
(+): It's the overall idea, the overall plotline that I think is amazing. It's Sehun's madness and his ironic realization. It's Jongin's portrayal and his painful endurances. It's the things about paradise and the plot turn at the end. Written with a wide range of vocab and perfect English as well. Gah. I told you: the spirit of the staircase is a masterpiece. Won third place on the contest too, if I'm not mistaken.
(-): Nothing in particular. The story's pretty dark so it's not for you who's more into light and blithesome fics. Not for you who doesn't read too.
