She rejects her past, while he runs from his. They leave nothing behind except everything.
"You hate me," she says softly.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Lee Junmi," she murmurs. "I'm sorry you hate me. But I don't blame you for it."
macchiato-'s note:
Horizon is one out of the few stories that manage to make me drop a long and sincere comment despite being a silent reader since forever. I started reading it at one in the morning, thinking I could stop whenever I feel sleepy but I couldn't and I ended up sleeping at four because the story is genuinely intriguing to the point that it's addicting.
(+): Horizon stands at its characters development and plot depth, something you rarely find because authors nowadays tend to have them unbalanced. JinnySkeans has the ability to toy with your feelings by pushing and pulling Jongin and Junmi's thoughts. Their love didn't develop based on those unremarkable, cliche reasons but on the proper, realistic, and believable background issues. The conflicts that they encountered were the normal conflicts college students will encounter, and alongside JongMi's love story (that's how they named the pairing), there were steady and beautiful touches of friendships between the main leads and their best friends. The writing is distinctive and hypnotizing and you will find yourself standing inside their life without even trying.
(-): I honestly don't know. The story is completed so you won't have to die waiting (except if you decided to read the sequel which is still ongoing). The language is easy to comprehend, sophisticated at the same time. Contains some ual scenes but they aren't . Now why am I giving out the good points when I'm supposed to state the bad ones? This got to be my favorite het of all time.
