Dear Joonmyun,

If you’re reading this letter, it means I’m gone and it’s only you and Tao now. I hope you’ll find comfort and support in each other, the same thing you both gave me when I needed it most.

How I’ve always been jealous of you, your strength and sense of purpose. I had always been weak. Oh so very weak and I’m not going to deny that I made mistakes cause I made so many of them.

You were right. I should have told Zitao’s father about him. But he couldn’t miss someone he didn’t know, and I needed Tao so much. To me, he’s the only thing I’ve ever done right in my life. He’ my heart and soul I couldn’t and wouldn’t give him up.

But enough stalling, Tao’s father is Kris Wu YiFan of Seoul, Korea. I have no proof whatsoever except of a mother’s instinct. He made a point of being careful; we both did. But Tao was meant to be. I’ll always be grateful for the time I had with Tao, though it was limited.

I rest easy knowing you’ll be there for Tao. This time you’ll be Tao’s guardian not mine. Remind Tao that I love him.
