In the middle of the night, cries were being heard. Pains can see on their eyes while looking at her body. They are losing their hope for her. To even see her alive. To even see her beautiful smiles.

Now that everybody have gather, each of them pat each other back to comfort themselves. They are smiling incase that it will increase her percentage of survival.

No one wants to think of her leaving them, leaving her family behind because they know that she can make it till the end. This isn’t the right time to say goodbyes. There’re still waiting for her. Waiting for the girl that always make them smile.

Seeing the girl lying her body unconsciously on the hospital’s bed, everybody started to sob. They can’t stand looking at the way she inhale. It’s not normal for a human like her. With those machines stuck on her body and mouth, all they can do is to give her a pity.

The crowd become thicker since some alumni and students came to visit their beloved prefect. Yes, Taeyeon is their prefect. Everyone bow down to her. Everyone respect her. Everyone admire her. Though she said that she didn’t deserve it. But now in this situation, all they can give is a hope. A hope that will make her survive. Even though it is nearly impossible, just by looking at her, they still keep their hope.

No one will give up. Because they don’t want to miss their prefect. They still want to see her ruling their school impressively. And they still want to share each other memories.

As time goes by, each one of them started to bid their goodbye even though there’s nothing good to say their byes.

As the crowd was gone, Taeyeon’s mom walked out from her daughter’s room only to see the guy that make her daughter suffered. Even though she’s mad at him for showing up late, she still allow him to visit her. Maybe, just maybe, he can make her daughter survive.

As Baekhyun walked in, his body started to tremble. Tears started to fall down. Guilt started to build up. He feels sorry, for leaving her behind and not staying beside her.

Baekhyun sat beside her, and grab her hands to hold it. The hands that once warm turn into a cold one. The body that always gives him warm, was now a cold one. The face that always blush whenever he got closer to her, was now all gone. He misses the old self of hers. He misses every single bit of hers.

There much regrets inside his heart. There much more pain he feels inside. He can’t longer make it. But just to let his cries out.

 Baekhyun woke up in the sound of a voice. He gently rub his eyes as he open it slowly. To his surprise, Lay was there, with his welcoming face—fierce. Baekhyun heaved a sigh before looking at the unconscious body in front of him. He had been staying up all night and with the dawn came, he fell asleep without him knowing. He shrug as he stood up and kisses the girl’s cheek before facing his friend. “What are you doing here?” Baekhyun asked, cocking his eyebrow up. Lay laugh cynically but then he quickly wear his poker face. “Shouldn’t I be the one who should ask you that question?” Lay asked. Baekhyun shake his head, “You don’t have rights to ask me a question like that, buddy. I’m the one who’s responsible to her not you. So please, back off. I’m not in the mood to argue with you.” Baekhyun said as he was about to push him outside but he fought back. “I’m not going anywhere. I won’t let you touch her again. You don’t deserve her!” Baekhyun furiously glared at him but then let it go since he’s not in the mood to argue with him as he said. “Just go, Lay. From now on, I’m the one who’s responsible to her. So please, go. She don’t need a guy like you in her life.” Lay unhinged his mouth to argue but no words come out.
