Time's Longing

Description

He stood reminiscing about what could have been, about what would have been.

He remembered the sky. The one he treasured.

The one he held most dear and yet... memories of her disappeared in an instant due to an accident.

He closed his eyes and tried to remember her.

His past.

He opened it and stared eye to eye with reality.

His present.

An angel came to ease his pain, to ease his loss.

Her smile brought him back. Her warmth felt more like home.

But time was cruel, because it drifted them apart.

As he muttered her name to the winds, “Seolhyun…” he held on to the pain.

He wasn’t ready to let go just yet. He knew he didn’t deserve her. He knew he wasn’t enough for her.

But he loved her too much. Was that enough? Could she hold on to that?

He guessed she didn’t...

As her leaving figure replayed in his head, his clenching heart was still beating for her. It still wanted her back.

He wanted his present. He wanted his present to be his future as well.

But everything was too late.

He was too late.

Time was cruel.

It was something he could never change.

Because the day she decided to come back..

He was no longer there waiting.
