Chapter 1: I'm so sorry, but I - just can't make the deadline. I've got too much going on. I'm really sorry. Disqualify me if you must. I just can't rush it out on time.

I was not expecting a twist like this wow wow wow. sounds really interesting and i like how you altered each one to fit the author's specific weak points (?) (am i right bc i know i have never written fantasy before)

Chapter 6: I wasn't aware of the deadline because I never checked. ; n ; So, I wasn't able to finish in time for the deadline. It was a fun competition while I was informed of everything. ; u ;
