Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! It's me infinite_k_pop and I have changed to soldaeseoul, so no worries, it's still me! I have returned after an almost two year break from the site, although I came back often to read stories I didn't interact or write as you can see.
In that period I think I've matured and I would love to return to the community fresh and ready; more stories to write, more stories to read, more contests to join, and more people to meet! My account is definitely messy with old stories and blogs and other horrendous tracks I have left here, but I'll be purging and deleting things here and there.
I won third place in the World of Literature 2014 Fanfiction Awards with Photographic Memory under the Best Romance category. I was shocked but pleased, considering I hadn't thought much of the nomination. But, it has spurred me to return among other things and I am here for AFF 2K15.
I have worked on a sweet one-shot which I will be posting in the next few days, and with that I hope to brush the dust off my skills and interact with you guys!
Hello there, feel free to call me Megan, or soldaeseoul, or any variation of that. I'm a student on the west coast of the USA, here to share what stories run on in my mind. I play piano, flute, and bassoon, and will be in marching band next school year. I'm involved in a poetry club where we write slam poems, or performance poetry.
K-pop and all the people within it hold a special place in my heart, it's definitely more than any "infatuation". My first groups were Super Junior, 2PM/AM, SHINee, U-KISS, and B1A4. But the first group I ever held such strong emotional attachment is EXO and I stand by them everyday. You're welcome to ask me about my biases and such!
As a writer of k-idols I definitely find myself more comfortable writing about my favorite ones; ones I know very well so I can feel comfortable putting them in a persona that may not be who they are in real life. I'm a romance kind of person, with dry humor and ty angst in my words. all the way. Girl characters are my weakness, thus I have never written a story with a girl as a lead character. I definitely want to write using different genres and au's, but I have written too much, so I'm excited to what I can deliver to you guys!
