about the contest
welcome to 'the graphics showdown' by theboxnetwork! in this contest, there will be a total of 10 rounds (one round per two weeks, unless stated otherwise) and will sort of follow the format of the korean show 'the genius'. the 1st round will be the selection round where 10 designers will be chosen to move on to the next round. one designer will be eliminated per round after the selection and the last designer will be tgs' champion.
each round starting from round 2, the best designer will be awarded 100 karma points and 'may be able to avoid' the next elimination. on the other hand, the designer with the least score will automatically be eliminated.
this contest will run for at least 5 months and will require a day or two of your week. if you have the time to compete, then you are welcome to join the showdown!

02. you must submit new and original artworks. no recycling of posters and taking others' works.
03. strictly one entry per round per designer. no collaborations, unless stated otherwise.
04. no late submissions.

Q: where do i submit an entry?
a: Just comment below the link to your artwork.
q: can i be a judge?
a: sure! just comment below or pm me if you're willing to be one of this contest's judges.
q: is there a rubric or something?
a: the rounds have different rubrics. it will be shown per round. but it is always 50% voters' score, 50% judges' score.
q: can we donate karma points to make the prizes bigger?
a: sure! i will update the prizes every time someone donates points.
q: can i submit an entry in a round even though i'm not a contestant or was eliminated?
a: yes. there will be special mentions per round of those people who are not in the contest but still submitted entries. those submissions will also be judged and the best entry will be awarded 100 karma points.
