Am I acceptable?
Coffee WritingInspired by Cinema Bizare's "My Obsession"
Is it nice over there, in the dancing light of non-hypocritical eyes?
Is it nostalgic like the lighthearted laugh stained pants of a day lost in memory?
Is it beautiful over there…because the fog only allows entrance of the accepted
I must be what it wills for a glimpse into that foreign world
From the deepest crevices, desire claws its path
When detection of forbidden trespassing arises
And hastens before conversion to the horrible
Because taboo’s punishment is equally destructive as the one I reflect.
Voluptuous body and deflated cheeks
Bone skin and tantalizingly slow progress
Define the convoluting errors intrinsic of the prideful
One, two, three, and stop.
Wait some time, long now, until everything empties, and repeat.
One, two, three, and stop.
Selfish, heard by a shunning reflection, ignorant, deep crimson gashes evidence, flawed, daily circulated for all to see
One, two, three: stop.
Watch the bile escape to freedom
Watch it make me something worthwhile
Because I am nothing until I am unanimously one of you.
As If I can compromise fate
As if I can cheat humiliation
As if I can emulate beauty
So just give me the satisfaction of momentary ascension
Beauty is pain.
Sweet, delicious pain that brings happiness of strong, clean steps and now effortlessly charismatic stares.
