"Guh," a boy in a striped long sleved tee and blue overalls manages to articulate, pressing his entire face against the glass, wobbling on tiptoes, small pale palms pressed excitedly against the transparent sheen. "pees,"

"Guh-pees," he says again, small fists knocking against the glass and giggling as the fishes swim towards his fingers. He looks no more than 5; a very determined 5 year old in fact: his arms are stretching for the bottle of fish feed, which is thankfully, just a wee bit out of his reach.

"no, kyungsoo, no feeding the guppies,"

large doe eyes framed with the softest and longest of lashes peer up towards the voice. The look of adoration on Kyungsoo's face is blatant. Porcelain white cheeks with just a light tinge of pink lifts as a childish, innocent smile dances across the little boy's face.

"Kai Hyung," Kyungsoo says, wobbling just a little as he waddles towards his elder brother, stretching his arms out, "huggy huggy,"

Kai can't stop the smile on his face and he laughs as Kyungsoo clings onto his calves, refusing to let go. 

"Does Soo-Baby wanna ride the aeroplane?" he teases, bending down so that he's eye to eye with his little brother, unable to resist the urge to ruffle Kyungsoo's mob of jet black hair. Kyungsoo's eyes lighten up almost immediately and he's nodding his head so vigourously and making all these little babbles of excited gurgles in his throat, Kai can't stop himself from pinching his cheeks. Soft like marshmallows.

He lifts Kyungsoo into his arms easily and Kyungsoo giggles and slings his tiny arms around his neck.

"Guppies," he says again, looking extremely proud of himself for pronouncing the hardest word for a 5 year old correctly, tiny fingers excitedly pointing towards the fish tank, "guppies!"

Kai smiles and presses a quick kiss to Kyungsoo's right cheek. Kyungsoo giggles again, eyes curling up into tiny crescents, radiant, innocent, perfect.

"Does Kyungsoo like guppies?"

The little boy nods his head again, fingers jabbing once more towards the tank as if to get his point across.

"Kyungsoo," he smiles, pink fingers pointing towards himself, "likes guppies," Kai walks closer to the tank and Kyungsoo's toothy grin radiates once again as he dips a tiny finger into the water, giggling as the guppies nip at it, "but," he turns his attention back to his elder brother, cheekily dapping his wet finger onto Kai's hair, "kyungsoo likes kai hyung more,"

Kai smiles as he feels his younger brother give him a quick peck on the cheek and he wishes, there and then, that Kyungsoo never ever grows up.
