"Miss, a kind sir is waiting outside," my butler said. I stared at the lego toy I was playing with and looked out the window. Little did I know, a smile formed on my lips. "Thank you, Maxwell," I whispered as I hugged him goodbye, "Tell mom I'll be home late." He nodded as if he understood and held the door open. As I walked out, he bowed and shut the door behind me. I hugged him and took the chance to inhale his cologne. It brought me the sensation. "You idiot, I thought you weren't coming at all," I giggled as I poked his stomach.

"Oh come on, I wouldn't lie to my sweetness of joy," he chuckled. He picked me off of my feet and swung me around. 

"You're always like this,"  I teased. 

"Tell me something I don't know," he mumbled under his breath. I remember the first day, it was paradise. Keeping secrets and locking the world away. Our eyes were latched onto each other that day. 

Today, was the day I realized he changed.
