"Oi."

 

Minho stared at the two pretty boys in front of him in shock.

 

"Oi.... Are you listening?" 

 

And the guy responsible for his swollen fingers still have that goddamn dictionary. 

 

"Yah!!! Pabo!!!"

 

Flinching, Minho backed away from the counter, fearing that Kibum was going to whack it with his dictionary again. Taemin looked confused (and absolutely adorable) standing there, clinging to his friend's uniform sleeve. Minho stared at him for a moment, before Kibum slammed the dictionary on the counter and he was forced to look at the other boy.

 

"Good. Now I have your attention," Kibum huffed. Minho blinked.

 

"Umm... Can I help you?" he mumbled awkwardly, and then he noticed the slightest smile and giggle coming from Taemin, and he couldn't help but smile a little too. Until Kibum smacked the counter again.

 

"What kind of cafe is this?!!" Luckily it was near the closing time, so no one was about to watch this embarrassing scene. "Do you know how many times I had repeated the order?!!" Minho face-palmed.

 

"I'm so sorry," he said, bowing. "Please take a seat, your order will be ready soon." Then he rushed into the kitchen and prepared the drinks himself. All his staffs had already went home. A hot chocolate for Taemin and a latte for Kibum, then know to Minho as The Cute One and The Psycho One (With A Dictionary).

 

When he came back out with the drinks, he could see that Kibum was looking through the menu, occasionally looking up to ask Taemin questions at their table. He left the drinks on the counter and ran back inside the kitchen. He dug through all the cupboards and drawers until he found a thicker version of the menu, a Braille one. Minho put the menu on the circular tray with the drinks and walked towards the two pretty boys.

 

"Umm... I might be a little late on this," he mumbled awkwardly as he placed the drinks on their table. "But would you like to use this?" He placed the Braille version of the menu in front of Taemin, and watched as he reached out and felt the booklet. 

 

"It has all the pictures inside too," he said with a smile after Taemin's fingers felt over the bumps that said "Menu". "They are engraved on the pages."

 

"T-thank you..." Taemin's voice was soft and sweet, and he had the most genuine and beautiful smile on his lips that Minho had ever seen. Kibum smiled too, and Minho couldn't help but cheered in victory mentally and grinned.

 

"Just call out for me if you want to order anything else," he said cheerfully. "I'll be over at the counter."

 

Taemin nodded with his gorgeous smile and continued to read his menu. 

 

So Minho walked back to his counter, slightly reluctant. He wanted to stay near them and watch them, or maybe even join in with their conversation. But as soon as he reach the counter, Taemin waved for him and he was more than happy to walk back to them.

 

"I want a slice of chocolate fudge cake, please," Taemin said with a gigantic smile. Minho chuckled.

 

"You can eat a slice chocolate fudge cake and drink a hot chocolate? Isn't it too sweet?" Taemin pouted cutely and shook his head. 

 

"Yah," Kibum said in a soft nagging tone, waving his stirrer around. "You'll get cavities! Eating so much sweets at the same time..."

 

"But I want a slice... Just a small slice will do!" he pleaded, and both Minho and Kibum couldn't help but gave in.

 

"Okay," Minho sighed. "I'll give you a small piece of cake. For free." 

 

"Eh?!!" The two pretty boys squeaked in unison. 

 

"Well, I'm not gonna charge you for a small portion of what I usually sells. I can eat the rest of it too..."

 

Taemin giggled. "Come and join us then!" 

 

"Sure!" Minho said happily. "I'm more than happy too!"

 

And so he spend the rest of the day eating cake with the two pretty boys,  learned their names and got to know them. 

 

Oh, and he fell even deeper in love with Taemin.
