"We've got to go now." Jessica Unnie whispered. 

 

We were leaving, escaping from the place I used to call home. My home... well it's not a home anymore. That place, is where mom died. She left us... with the man I used to call my father. So we are leaving... the place I thought I belonged. Escaping this world, where nothing is what it used to be. Escaping my father... the person who used to love us. Escaping my home... where everyone was hurt. All my father did was hurt us after Mom died. He got so drunk he thought we were strangers in his house. He kicked us, beat us, and hurt us. That's why we're escaping. That's why we're running far away. So he can't hurt us anymore.

 

We were almost outside when my father woke up. 

 

"Krystal run." Where the last things that had escaped my older sister's mouth. After that I ran. I was able to escape, but I can never escape my heart that keeps longing for Jessica Unnie... where is she now?
