Kim Min Seok is my Boyfriend, He’s a trainee at SME and is set to debut as a member of EXO named XIUMIN three days from now. You are happy for him at the same time sad, because knowing he’ll be debuting soon, you’ll have less time to be with him. Also, SME has this rule that once they’ve debut, they must break up with their Girlfriend/Boyfriend. You don’t want to break up with minseok but you are planning on letting him go. You thought that maybe this will be the best for the both of you, so you planned a little farewell party for him.

On the day before his debut, you texted him

*Can you meet me here at our favorite café?*

*sure, what time?” He replied

*Around 6pm maybe? Do you have practice for today?*

*Yes I have practice but I don’t know what time it will end*

*I’ll wait for you then*

*Are you sure?*

*yeah, I’m gonna hung up now*

You hung up the phone and went to the Café where you’ll meet. It’s only 3pm right now but you’ve decided to go early to set the things you needed. After setting up everything, you looked at your watch and saw that it’s already 5:30, so you went to the bathroom and fixed your make up. Remembering that this will be your last date as a couple, your eyes are getting wet already

“No, this is for Minseok, for us, If we’re destined, we’ll meet again” You told yourself

You went back to your seat which was located at the far end of the café near the glass window. You looked at your watch and it’s already 6pm

“He’ll be here anytime soon” You said

After about 15 minutes of waiting, you received a text message

*Babe are you still there?, We’re still in the middle of practice, I’m sorry, I’m already late*, It was from Minseok

*It’s okay babe, I’ll just wait for you here. I don’t mind* I replied

*I’m really sorry babe, I’ll be there soon, I love you*

I was bored as I started playing with my phone, time passed, It’s already 7Pm, but still no signs of Minseok, The waitress went to me and asked if I would like to order something, but I refused, I told her that I’ll order later. I was browsing the internet when I saw 3 High School students entered the café. They sat behind me. They were talking about some group that will debut tomorrow, in short, they’re talking about EXO

“EXO will be debuting tomorrow, OMG! I can’t wait!!” Said the long haired girl

“Me too! I’ve been waiting for ages!! Those teasers really are prolonging our wait” Said the other one

“How I wished, all of them are single though, I don’t want to break my own heart this early” said the other

“Yeah, me too how I really wish, because having a Girlfriend when they’re only starting is quite hard, especially when people will know about this, they’re popularity can crash in an instant” Said the longhaired one

I took a deep sigh. What they said pricked my heart, but It gave me more courage to break up with Minseok

I waited, waited and waited for Minseok. The more I wait, the fewer the people I see inside the café.

“Ma’am, 5 minutes more and we’ll be closing already” The waitress told me and smiled

“I understand, I’ll just fix my things thank you” *everything’s ruined, my surprise, my heart, and eventually our relationship is on its brink. I stood up but didn’t bother to leave the café, I just went out and sat at the little bench in front of the café. The café is finally closed. As the time pass by, the temperature keeps on dropping. I don’t know how cold it is right now but I don’t wanna leave yet. I promised I’ll wait for him. I won’t leave until he comes. After all this will be our last night together, last night that everything’s normal, last night that I can love him with no regrets. I put my last faith on him. It’s getting very late but my heart still waits for him.

11:53, still no message or calls for him. I’m trying to convince myself that maybe, maybe he’s still in the middle of practice. I’m convincing myself that he’ll come no matter what.

12:23, still no signs of him. My heart slowly losing faith, as tears forming in my eyes. I looked up, I saw the bright full moon, shining so bright along with millions of beautiful stars on the sky. “He’ll come, I’m pretty sure. He’ll come” I utter as little drops of tears flowing from my eyes. “He’ll come, I trust him, he’ll come” …

2:15… still no minseok. I finally stood up, chin up and left. I left for good.

We didn’t have a proper break up. I went to the US to continue my study. Away from Minseok, away from everything and everyone who’ll make me remember about him. 5 years had passed. I’ve graduated. And I heard EXO became a huge hit not just in Korea, also overseas.

5 Years had passed, I’m finally back. I safely landed on Incheon airport. Fresh air, new beginning, New me.. I saw a crowd at the Exit of the arrival area I’m pretty sure some famous artist arrived too.

I didn’t mind checking who it was, it’s none of my business after all. While walking I saw this familiar figure. My heart skips a beat, making me froze on where I was standing. I’m voiceless, It’s like all of the nerves on my body stopped working. I stiffened when suddenly someone called him “XIumin Wait!” It was luhan. The guy he called stopped on his tracks as he looked back.

That’s when I realized the man who I saw was really Minseok. The same Minseok that I didn’t stop loving. I didn’t approach him. I’m scared, I’m nervous. I’m frozen. I turned my back and started walking on the opposite direction. “If it’s meant to be, it will be. It’s nice seeing you again baby~” I murmured as tears dropped from my eyes.
