Foreword
“Hahaha! Fatty! Get lost!” The older boy around his early teenage years shouted as he throws the younger boy’s bag to the trash can.
The younger boy could only let out a sigh as he picks his bag from the garbage and tidies it. It’s always been like this for him, being bullied by the bullies who were just 2 years older than him. He started his tracks walking out of their school, looking down on the path way, just like that he ends his stressful day.
“Hey!” An old man, around forty, shouted beside the car. The younger boy smiled in return. He jogged towards the car and gave his bag to him. “How’s your day, little boy?” The old man said as he ruffles his hair and opens the car’s door for him. And again, he could only smile in return.
As the car exits the school grounds, the little boy caught a glimpse of a young girl, also around his age, waiting for her ride home. She was wearing a pink flowery dress, the one younger girls will surely like to wear. She was just there sitting and waiting. The young boy just kept his gaze to her until the little girl was out-of-sight already.
He doesn’t know why but seeing the younger girl a while ago made him smile unknowingly.

He would always silently watch the younger girl. He never had the courage to approach her, because he is also scared, what if she wouldn’t like him?
Until the day he had enough courage has come.
“Uhm, excuse me, are you alone?” He asked obviously
The younger girl only glanced back at him
“What’s your name?” He asked again
Still no answer
“Stephanie!”
He heard someone yell from afar and diverted his gaze there. Turns out it was the older boy who keeps on bullying him.
“Don’t go near him, Stephanie! Come here, I’ll walk you home.”
The younger girl bowed down a bit and ran towards the older boy.
“You shouldn’t be sticking with fat-losers like him, okay? You shouldn’t befriend him.” The older boy said, loud enough for other students to hear that left the younger boy in humiliation.
