I had been sitting there, telling Baekhyun that although the best things in life are free, my heart isn't, and then he suddenly stood up from his seat, held my chin up with his thumbs and....

And it was a chaste, no tongue action kind of kiss. I wasn't sure how to react. All I knew was that my heart was not beating.

Listen, don't believe in romantic novels. Not every kiss with a handsome guy like Baekhyun feels like heaven on earth. In reality, your heart fails to beat even if you are being kissed by a prince or a celebrity. Kisses you share with a person you do not love are nothing compared to kisses you share with the person your heart yearns for.

It's fortunate that I don't have someone in my heart right now. 

Snapping back to reality, I slightly pushed Baekhyun from me. "Baekhyun. You always kiss people when you're drunk. It's about time to go back to the dorm." I whispered.

Baekhyun touched his lips with his fingers. "Hm. Yeah. It's getting late. Let's just hitch a ride together." Baekhyun remarked without making any comment about the kiss.

Guys these days. Hormones. Thinking with their little friends. Booze. The good life. No more substance under the influence of alcohol.

My horror heightened when my brother sent me two text messages at once. It was ten in the evening, and my brother was home to take care of mom. 

"Get home now Kim Seul Min."

His text seemed to carry his frightening, authoritative tone whenever I disobey my curfew.

I glanced at Baekhyun who was busy calling for a taxi. He wasn't close to drunk, and a small, bubble thought popped in me.

If he's not drunk, then did he kiss me on purpose?

Honestly,I don't really care. On purpose or not, it did not matter. I don't fancy Baekhyun anyway. 

Finally, a taxi cab came and so again, I rode with Baekhyun silently. 

As I looked at Baekhyun's handsome jawline and profile, a part of me wished that I never made a deal with Chanyeol to betray Baekhyun. 

Originally, Chanyeol wanted me to "seduce" Baekhyun into practicing and committing more to EXO, but now that Baekhyun's improving, I no longer want the money. After finding out the reason for Baekhyun's commitment phobia, I felt disgusted by the dirty trick I've been playing on Baekhyun. 

Something within me felt sorry for Byun Baekhyun. It must have hurt to be cheated on.
