Premonition

Description

How often do you ignore a dream, call it fantasy and then see echoes of the dream around you the following day?

What if a dream were the forewarning of what will become your reality?

What if you are being told by the world of a dream what may occur in the  future?

But your mind denied the truth and information then you called it as fiction instead.”

Foreword

It's been more than 30 minutes since Hoya awake. The reason why he stay still, sitting on his bed is because his hands are still trembling. He doesn't know how to stop that. That's why he did nothing but staring at the soft blue wall of his room. The chilling sensation creep out underneath his pajamas. Weird, because the window is closed. How can he feel so cold right now?

It past midnight, but he thinks that he may not be able to sleep anymore. Hoya always hate horror stories, but he never thought that the feeling that floating in his chest right now is much scarier that any ghost movie. His mind now is filled with a lot of "what if." Hoya takes a deep breathe before finaly gathered up his courage to get up from his bed. He walks to the kitchen to take a glass of water. But he got surprised when he found the light in the living room is still on.

"Hoya, you're awake? It's still 1 AM." Woohyun look at the younger man with a surprise expression. Hoya is a heavy sleeper. It's hard to wake him up even after the sun reach the high sky. That's why it's weird to see him awake at this hour.

"Oh...I just...suddenly I woke up." Hoya said while his trembling hand holding the purple cup filled with water tightly.

Woohyun just smiles and a while later he's back to his pile of paper in front of him. Hoya knows his brother is a hard worker. But he doesn't know that Woohyun use to spend almost whole night staying up to review those financial report.

"Hyung, you're not going to sleep?"

"Umm...30 minutes more. You should go back to sleep. You have school tomorrow." Woohyun said while his eyes still fixed at his papers.

"I know." Hoya said weakly while looking down to his purple cup on his hand. The older man notices that. He put down his paper and now looking at Hoya.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Really? Then why do you have those expression?"

Hoya doesn't answer it. Just keep staring to the cup like it is the most beautiful thing in the world.

"You got nightmare?"

Hoya nodded. Woohyun just smiles to his cute little brother.

"Gwenchana...it's just a dream. Dream is just a fiction. Your mind created it. It's not even real."

Hoya just smiles weakly. His brother is always a rational and logical person. He only believes to anything that he can actually see.

"It's okay. Go back to sleep. You're not even 5 years old kid, right? There's nothing to be afraid of." Woohyun said with smile.

"I know."

"Good. Rest well. Goodnight, Hoya."

"Goodnoght, hyung..."

Hoya walks to his room. He took a glance of his brother that still on his paperwork before finally closes the door and shut the light off.
