DongHae’s POV

“Jessica…” I called her while I put my hands on her forehead and she is burning hot

She slowly opened her eyes and said “ Dong…DongHae…”

“Don’t worry… I’m here…” I assured to her as I caressed her red and hot cheeks

She forced a weak smile before she spoke slowly “ kashamnida…”

“No, it’s okay…” I said to her to make her feel better

She slowly put her hands up and touched my face and caressed it too. “Thank God, you are here…”

“Just Relax, I’ll take care of everything…” I touched her hand that caressing my face; her hands are so soft and smooth.

I fixed her position for her to sleep properly; I got another comforter and lay it to her to give her more warmth then my phone rung.

“SooJung-ah, wae-yo?” I asked my daughter

“Is mommy doing fine?” she asked worriedly

I took a look at Jessica, who was still look not okay, she still looks pale

“To be honest, baby… your mom is not yet fine.” I truthfully informed her

“chinja? Please take care of mom. Please… daddy. Promise me, mom will be okay.” She said between her soft sobs

“Nothing will happen to her. I’ll promise…” I assured to my one and only SooJung

“Please… daddy... because I don’t want mom to go again.” She said as she was now crying over the phone

I let out a sighed as I remember the time that SooJung will know the truth, she will be hurt.

“I promise she won’t go anywhere.” I promised to my daughter

“Dad. Before I hung up can you place the phone on mom’s ear, I will just tell her something.” She said between her sniffs

I do what she said

“Mom. Please be okay. I love you.” SooJung said to the woman who believes to be her mom

Then after I let her talk to Jessica, we bid goodbye to each other and tell her not to worry

Then I took a chair and sat beside her bed, I noticed tears in her cheeks, maybe she was touched on what SooJung said, and I wiped her tears with my thumbs

I rested my back on the chair and rub my temple while sighing “this is my fault… I let her work too much…” I blamed myself

Then I called our family doctor, one of my closet friends, to check on Jessica, I give him the address and wait for him patiently

“So, what is this?” SiWon asked me as we both make are way upstairs

“I’ll tell you guys, when we all meet.” I said as I lead the way back to Jessica’s room

I opened the door and she is still sleeping

“Here. P
