What happens when you put together an aloof boy with an enclosed heart and a girl that literally shines brighter than the sun, into one story? "Rainy Days with a touch of sunshine" takes place in the bustling city of Seoul and circles around a peculiar group of teenagers. This story tells the tale of how two polar opposites somehow find themselves attracted to one another, through the help of misunderstandings and jovial individuals. However, how does the revelation of a haunting past affect their growing relationship?
The story's female protagonist, Park Saemi is an adventurous girl who strived for independence. Her father's homeland, South Korea comes in with an opportunity and she's sold. But wait, how can she live her life if she has a mysterious man and his goons on her tail 24/7?
The story's male protagonist, Kim Taehyung is a grumpy and cold adolescent who likes to keep to himself and push away others. Truthfully, he can be a frail boy because of his dark past and has a soft spot for making music. Yet, everyday he wonders why he is writing a song for that one person he can't see anymore.
CHARACTERS:
Park Saemi
Saemi is optimistic, polite, yet adventurous. She was born in Seoul and lived there until the age of five, when she moved with her family to America. Many people who are familiar with her say she is spunky and her full of life personality attracts them to her. Saemi can be overly blunt sometimes, but otherwise has manners and knows how to think before she speaks. She is clever when pushed into dangerous situations and is great at strategy planning to make up for her lack of physical strength. She has a habit of speaking her mind and can be quite stubborn when put into situations she finds wrong. Many define her as the girl with a golden heart and voice and say she has a killer smile that can blind a person in seconds.
Kim Taehyung
Taehyung can be described as a member of the school's 'vicious gang', "Bangtan Boys" and a boy that can freeze you with just one look. Those are just rumors though. Inside his cold and unfriendly exterior, is a teenage boy who doesn't know how to deal with situations, people, and his own self. Contrary to his image, he has a love for music and song making. He hangs around with his friends who are the other members of the rumored gang, when really they are just a bunch of idiots who share a passion for music, arts, and the like.
Bangtan Boys
A group of misunderstood idiots. They love music and sometimes perform at Taehyung's uncle's nightclub
Choi Jihoo
Jihoo is Taehyung's older half-brother. He's cunning and clever but uses his intellect to upset others. One word to describe him is Sadist. He appears extremely mysterious and for some reason is very hostile towards Taehyung. Jihoo is the CEO of a very successful electronics company.
Omg. I'm still laughing at the pictures I put for Taehyung. Well, so here's a fanfiction (my first) with a cold/mean Taehyung (Don't hate me for doing this, it's just so fun writing him like this ;_;)
I'd say this story learns more to the Drama genre rather than a Romcom. Although I try to be a *ahem* a bit of a funny person here and there.
I have actually planned out how the whole story is going to happen and am in the process of writing the first few chapters so bear with me please :)

And if anyone is wondering who the model is for my story, its Park Seul Ki! I was so close to using Kim So Mi (like almost every freakin story I read) but I thought Seul Ki fit the image of my character a lot more.
