Ken POV: 

My heart, it's been ripped out, bloody, beaten, broken. Leo's just laying there cold, lifeless. "Why, Leo," I shout, the pain becoming unbearable, "You promised me. You promised me you wouldn't leave me." My voice becomes still. "You can't leave me, not after all this." Tears wet my face. Oh god, is there no god? Leo, he's disappearing from my world. Has he been cast aside? Why him out of all people? 

I take his hand in mine. His heart, it's still beating. There's still hope. "Please be ok, Leo," I manage forcing a smile. "I v-vowed to b-be always by your s-side," my voice is trembling. "I'm not leaving you alone again. I love you. I don't know what I'd do without you, so just please be alright." I submit to the sobs I've been holding back. My whole body shakes. I have to stop this. I have to be strong, strong for Leo. What would he think if he saw me like this? I lay beside him, holding him close. This is the only thing I can do for him now. 

Damn you, Hyde. Damn you to hell. 

Leo POV: 

I wake up to black. Just darkness. My head hurts, again. I take in my surroundings, squinting with what little light there is. What is that? A throne? You've got to be kidding me. I walk toward it, cautiously. How is it so bright? There's no light for it to reflect. But this is no time to worry about it. I have to find my way out. My way back to Jaehwan. I turn around looking for an exit. 

"Ah, welcome, Taekwoon. I've been waiting your arrival for quite sometime now." I stand still. The voice, it's coming from behind me, but no one was there a second ago. I whip around seeing someone on the once empty throne. 

"Jaehw-" this isn't my Jaehwan. He has wings, black wings, like an angel of darkness, an illusion of my nightmare. I narrow my eyes at him. I shouldn't trust this person.

"So, you've recognized me." It wasn't a question.

I back away quickly, "He'll do anything to kill you.", but he's too quick. He traps me. 

"Why are you running away," he leans in and whispers, his hot breath burning my neck. "I just wanna talk." He reaches for my face. I push him away. "Awww, Taekwoonie, you don't have to be so rough." He smirks. My blood is boiling. Those words may be coming from Jaehwan. But. This. Isn't. My Jaehwan. 

"Bite Me," I hiss.

"I'll do more than just that. I know you know why you're here, so let's cut to the chase, shall we?" He's circling me now. His voice comes from all sides. If I could run, I would.

"You can make this as quick as possible and let me kill you here and now, or," he stops right in front of me, approaching me, "because I feel so kind, you can try and defeat me." He stops, glaring at me. I feel my blood run cold. It's the exact same look Jaehwan gave me in the park. "It's your choice, but why delay the inevitable?" 

If I could run, I would.
