8. When he's your friend, but you're in love with him

You really needed a drink right now. It had been a few months since you had seen Jun, your best friend. You had been ignoring him, but you had a good reason. You were in love with him.

But he didn't feel the same about you. So in order to protect your heart, you kept your distance from him. But you still missed him. Maybe getting drunk will help you forget about him. At least for a little while.

A few hours had passed and you were drunk now, but you still couldn't forget about him. You heard your ringtone and reached over for your phone and answered the call without looking at the caller ID.

"Moshi moshi?" 

"Hey, ____" You heard Jun's voice on the other end and your heart didn't feel broken anymore.

"Jun!" You giggled. "I'm so glad you called!"

"Really? You are? Because... i feel like you've been avoiding me for a while. Is that true?"

"Yup".

"Why? Have i done something wrong?"

"Yes, you have".

The line went silent, but he was still there. You could hear his breathing. "What have i done?" He asked. He sounded really cold, which was something you weren't used to.
