Description
Two best friends, Jessica Jung and Im Yoona find theirselves singing to the melody being played by their hearts.
Yoona was your typical honor student. She loves nearly all the subjects offered in SM high, particularly music. She's the type of student who indulges herself in studying, without even giving a thought about love. Love, according to her, is useless. Using your heart, and being affected by it is one of the most stupid things that human beings do.
You must use your brain first, before your heart . . . it is exactly the reason why the brain is put in a position higher than the heart; it must be used first, for it knows better.
But the day came when she had to eat up her own words. The day when she heard Kyuhyun --the transferee student who somehow managed to be the lead singer of the glee club -- sing. His angelic voice manage to wake up her sleeping heart -- and worse, he had her heart singing a melody which is completely foreign to her.
Jessica, on the other hand, was quite different with her best friend. They were both honor students, but they had a lot of differences. Yoona was a love-hater, while she believes strongly in it. Yoona loves music, while she hates it terribly.
She believes that love exists, and hopes to find the one, who would love her completely.
She says that its okay for her to fall in love with any of the guys in the school . . . except for Lee Donghae.
She hates nearly everything about Donghae, for according to her, it was Donghae who stole away what should have been hers. She said that he stole away the place of being the first honor. And for that, she loathed him. Ooh, and one more thing: Donghae is a singer . . . and she hates music.
But what she doesn't know is, this singer whom she loves to hate, is actually desperately in love with her.
And she, too, with the help of a magic perfume and a clumsy Onew, finds herself falling for him. Even though she doesn't want to.
She hates music. But her heart is singing a melody which can never be stopped.
Two best friends. Two amazing journeys. And one melody.
The melody that keeps on playing inside their hearts is called love.
The melody called love is quite painful. It is filled with challenges, rejections and agony.
But behind all those pain, lies a great deal of happiness.
Behind all those pain, lies a certain beauty that only love can offer . . .

Hello there! This is Lei, and this is the new version of 'Beautiful Melody'. To the former subscribers of this fic..I hope you guys forgive me and subscribe again.. :) to those who are new readers, please review/subscribe! :D
anyway, here are the main characters ...

Im Yoona
"How do you know that you're in love? It's when your heart sings a melody so beautful, it could bring one to tears. My heart is currently singing . . . and this melody, I dedicate to him, Cho Kyuhyun."
Yoona is a non-believer of love. Until she heard Kyuhyun singing. She fell in love in an instant . . . with a complete stranger, that is. After a series of events, she finally got to meet him, and to know him personally . . .and she found out something about him: He was in love with someone else. He was in love with one of her friends, SeoHyun.
For the first time in her life, she felt the pain that love has to offer. But would this pain stop the sound of her heart singing?
Jessica Jung
"There are two things in life which I hate the most: Music and Lee Donghae. Both have made my life a living hell. But why does my heart sing? And why do I feel this way about that guy?"
Jessica Jung. An ice princess to many, a sweetheart to all her friends. She have decided to wear a mask in front of the people she doesn't trust. She gave herself a fake persona: Ice Princess. She pretends to be a strong and mean person. But the real side of her is weak and fragile.
She never shows her fragile side, most especially to Lee Donghae, her number one competitor with being the 1st honor.
But what if, for some unknown reason, she finds herself falling in love with the person she thought she hated so much?
Cho Kyuhyun
"The moment I saw her, I knew it was love , but I don't know if Seohyun loves me back . . ."
He is a newbie in their school, but due to his amazing skills, he managed to be the lead singer of the school's glee club. In the said club, he meets Seohyun, and falls in love with her.
He feels afraid of admitting his feelings, and thus, he never makes a move. He pretends as if he feels nothing.
He feels like a coward and thinks little of himself . . . until he met a new friend, Im Yoona. She befriended him and comforted him.
But as he spends time with Yoona, he feels confusion, and eventually asks himself, "Do I really love Seohyun? Or is it Yoona I love?"
Would he ever find out the answer to his question?
Lee Donghae
"She hates me . . . but I don't care. At least, she notices me."
Lee Donghae is one of the most popular members of the glee club. Known for his good looks, he had attracted the attention of many girls. But the thing is, he isn't interested with anyone but her: Jessica Jung
Jessica Jung hates him. He is aware of it, but he doesn't even care. At least, Jessica notices him . . . and this simple fact makes him happy.
But due to a series of events and Onew's clumsiness, he accidentally makes Jessica fall for him . . . with the help of black magic, that is.
Would he manage to make Jessica fall for him, for real? Or would she be forever under a spell?
Seohyun
"I have love phobia--if that even exists."
Seohyun grew afraid of love when her ex-boyfriend, Jung Yonghwa cheated on her. She promised herself never to fall in love again . . . until she meets Cho Kyuhyun, that is.
But Kyuhyun never shows her any sign that he likes her, and she, due to her phobia, never had the courage to admit her feelings to him.
Would Seohyun ever get another chance in love?

Author's note: So, there you have it! The main characters. To those who read the former version of this fic, I would have to remind you . . . this new version would have LOTS of changes. Sorry bout that . . . but I hope you do like this. :)
If you are confused about the whole black magic/magic perfume thing, let me explain that to you.
I have invented a love perfume. Once you spray it, and call the name of the person you love, and if that person looks at you after you call her/ him, that person would immediately like you back. And this perfume, my friends, is invented inside my imagination.
If you are still confused about it, don't worry, it would be explained further in the story.
Onew and OnTae would make a cameo appearance here.
