Kim Suho, the central character of the story, was born on November 27, 1988, is from Seoul, South Korea and works as a journalist. He is a hopeless romantic and is prone to socially questionable romantic gestures. After watching a proposal in front of him in the streets, Suho decides to try and find his soul mate.

Jessica Jung was born on April 18, 1989 from Brooklyn, New York working as a high school subsitute teacher of English . Jessica is the strong, sometimes intimidating, and arguably most grounded of the five of her friends.

Choi Sulli was born on March 29, 1991 from Busan, South Korea and she works in a counselling centre. Sulli  is the group's moderator, always there to resolve a conflict or to offer a shoulder to cry on. 

Choi Minho was born in December 9, 1989 from Seoul, South Korea and he works as an app designer. He is a fun-loving, optimistic , young at heart man.

Lee Donghae was born in October 15, 1987 from Seoul, South Korea. Donghae is a vain and confidant womanizer and he clearly has no trouble hooking up on a different girl everyday and stories detailing various ual encounters throughout the story.
