Jongin, an emotional wreck inside. He had been happy, married at 16 to the love of his life and now caring for his 4 year old daughter. Things start to go wrong for him and his family. Bills pile up. He loses his job. Starts having intense arguments with Soojung. That's how his drinking problem was born. And his second half.

Soojung, Jongin's wife since they were both 16. She is cheerful, optimistic and brave, which is exactly what Jongin loves about her. She kept Jongin's drinking problem a secret until he started hitting her. If this continued he would start hurting Lauren, and Soojung had sworn on her life she would never let that happen.

Lauren, one of the most innocent and pure kids in this world. Already, at such a young age, she only sees people's good sides and treats everyone like they were perfect. She doesn't understand when Jongin starts drinking, she had never seen him like this. But even then, she still treated him like a perfect human being. Lauren is one of the things that breaks Jongin's heart the most when he lets everyone down.

Luhan, the epitome of 'looks can fool'. On the outside he is sweet, caring and very loving. But once he meets Jongin at his favourite bar, he starts to change. Jongin wakes the evil side in him, especially when Luhan finds out Jongin is married to Soojung, Luhan's old nemesis. With total intention, he leads Jongin to cheating on Soojung.
