Hi hi! Solo long term project for me, I actually posted this already on my tumblr acc and wanted to post it on here for the longest time but hnever had hte chance so here it is now!
Description: Bang Hyo Jin was born in Korea but moved to the states when she was really young and stayed there for majority of her life before going back to Korea to finish her last two years of high school. There she remeets her childhood friend Kwak Aron and his friends Ilhoon and JR as well as new friend Minwoo and Suzy. What will happen during her last two years of schooling? Will she fall in love with her childhood friend or meet someone new and start a new adventure with that person?
I can make this story go any way...Love square?!
Characters
Bang Hyo Jin (17)
Studied in the states for majority of her life and goes back to Korea for the last two years of high school. She's a blunt girl but can be shy when she's uncomfortable. She's quiet but easy to get along with.
Bang YongGuk (25)
Graduated from Harvard School of Business, he lives in Korea running the Korean branch of his fathers company. He's realy responsible and takes care of all of Hyo Jin's schooling to ensure its whats best for her as well as making her happy
Kwak Aron (17)
Hyo Jin's childhood friend and son to a Hotel Resort CEO. Moved to Korea at the age of 11 and attended SIS since then. Never exepcted to run into his first love Hyo Jin again but when he does, alot of feelings rush back to him. He's the grade 11 REP of the class and he's also realy smart with alot of AP classes. Well liked in the school and gets alot of confessions almost everyweek though he nicely turns them down. Is part of SIS's Top3
Kim Jong Hyun (JR) (17)
Son to a hotel CEO and one of SIS's Top 3. Though he doesnt look it cause he's emotionless half the time, he's actually really smart. Many girls admire him and ask him out alot but he normally just turns the other way and ignores it instead of nicely telling them. He has a cold attitude unless it's to people he cares about, he doesnt let people in easily but when he meets Hyo Jin things are different and he has the urge to help her. Eventually his feelings start developing for her.
Jung Ilhoon (17)
Son of one of Korea's top lawyers and the last of the Top3 at SIS. He's Hyo Jins tutor who ends up become her bestfriend. He's a nice guy with a sense of humor and protects those he cares about. His family and Yong Guk are really close which is why Yong Guk asked him to tutor Hyo Jin. He ends up falling for her but is really good at hiding it.
No Minwoo (17)
Hyo Jin's first friend and a Korea native. He's the son to one of Korea's top entertainment agencies and he lives for dancing. He gets Hyojin to open up more and JR and Aron think that Hyo Jin likes him cause they spend so much time together though in reality, Minwoo's in an arranged marriage with his first love Suzy who is Ilhoons sister.
Jung Suzy (16)
Ilhoons younger sister who has been modelling since she was a young girl. Minwoo's first love and is in an arranged marriage with him. She and Hyo Jin become realy good friends because of Ilhoon and she helps her out along the way with the dilemma Hyo Jin eventually faces.
Foreword
Hyojin sat on the airplane looking out the window as it crossed the international dateline. The 12 hour flight was almost over, thank god. Moving was hard, especially since a lot of her things were in cargo planes landing at different times so her new place was pretty empty.
Leaving America was particularly hard, she had a lot of friends there and she was really happy but when her dad wanted to move the company headquarters back to Korea, she had no choice but to follow, the only thing that she was looking forward to was that her brother Yong Guk was there living happily attending college.
"You'll love our new place, it's bigger than the one that we had in California and you'll have your own room and walk in closet and it's close to Yong Guk's house" Hyojin's mom rambled on. She's been talking since she woke up half an hour ago and since there was another five hours left of the plane ride, she hoped that she would fall asleep again.
"I know it's hard to pack up and leave honey, but you'll make new friends and once we settle in, things will get easier. Oh and Ms. Kwak told me that they're back in Korea too. Remember Aron? Oh I remember you two would always play together when you were younger and during all those family vacations. It's a shame they moved back to Korea before us and the vacations had to stop…" she droned.
Aron…of course Hyojin remembered Aron. The two of them were inseparable till the age of twelve when he moved back to Korea. He was one of her classmates in elementary school and the two if them instantly clicked that one day in kindergarten, so for that, their parents got to know each other and eventually many family vacations happened. When he moved back, the two of them lost contact and she didn’t get to hear or see him in the last five years.
She sighed, did he remember her? Was he still the same Aron she knew back then or did he become a totally different person? Would she see him again? Maybe in school? What was her new school going to be like? Would she make any new friends? Those thoughts ran through her mind as she leaned against the window and closed her eyes drifting off into a sleep before touching down in Seoul.
