Chapter Two
GiftedHaneul slowly opened her eyes and blinked a couple of times to reduce the blurriness. She abruptly sat up.
"Where am i?.... Wasnt i in the snow?.." She asked herself.

"I'm G.NA." The girl said.
"Where am i?" Haneul asked looking around the clean, white room.
"You're in CUBE institute, a place for the gifted. if you know what i mean." G.na said.
"Gifted?...." Haneul said quietly.
"You didnt think that you were the only one with special talents did you?" G.na asked.
"I know that Junhyung... JUNHYUNG!! What happened to him?!" Haneul suddenly remembered.
"Dont worry. He's safe too. In a different room resting." G.na said.
Haneul sighed in relief, "But the guy that attacked us-"
"You dont have to worry about him right now. We'll protect you."
Haneul nodded. She didnt know why but she trusted this stranger.
"Do you have any questions?" G.na asked.
"Yah... What's your power?" Haneul asked.
"I can make shields around myself and other people."
"Thats cool..."
"Care to tell me yours?" G.na asked.
"Me?..." Haneul hesitated a bit, "I can change the skin on my hands into anything i can touch...."
"That's cool." G.na sincerely smiled. "Here, let me take you to the professor." G.na helped Haneul stand up and led her to a room upstairs that looked like an office.
"Ahh.. G.na and Haneul nice to see you. Hope you have a nice rest Haneul. I know everything must seem strange to you right now. But dont wory. You are safe." "I am Kim Sooro. But you can call me Sooro Sem (Teacher)." He looked nice Haneul thought.
"Hello. Umm... Where's Junhyung??" Haneul asked. And just as she asked they heard a ruckus outside the door.
"Let go of me! Tell me where you're keeping her!!" Junhyung's voice rang.
"She's safe I'm telling you." Another voice said.
"Yeah please believe Hyunseung." A slightly higher pitched voice said.
Then Junhyung and two other boys burst inside. Junhyung saw Haneul and immediately went over to her, "You okay?."
Haneul nodded her head slowly. Then he looked at Sooro. "Who the hell are you?? Are you in this with Doojoon?? HUh??!!" He yelled.
"Junhyung please calm down." G.na tried calming him down.
"Shut up!" Junhyung had small smoke coming from his hands.
"Junhyung please. Calm down.. We're on your side. We want to help you." Sooro said.
"I dont need help!"
"Yoseob and Hyunseung were two of the 4 who saved you and Haneul. If it wasnt for them she would be dead." Sooro said.
"I never asked for your help." Junhyung growled.
"But would you have been able to save Haneul without it?" Sooro reasoned.
Junhyung then stayed silent with an expression of hatred on his face.
"Listen Junhyung. We just want to help you with your power and Haneul's." Sooro continued.
"Haneul's??" Junhyung looked at her, "But she doesnt have any powers."
"On the contrary. She has an extraordinary gift." Sooro said.
"Powers....you?? Is that why doojoon.." Junhyung questioned.
"Yes.. That is why your rival and our enemy is after Haneul." Sooro explained.
*After me??* "Wait.. What?? After me?? But why?? It's not like my powers are anything especially great.." Haneul spoke up.
"Actually you're powers can grow to be extremely strong once you learn to control it better and learn to do many things with it." Sooro explained.
"SO.. That Doojoon is after Haneul cause she has a gift?" Junhyung asked.
"Yes. And so we brought both of you here not only to keep you safe but also to train you on your powers so that if and when the time comes you may defend yourselves."
"But i already can defend myself." Junhyung said.
"Yet Haneul cannot. She needs proper training and as her guardian are you not willing to stay?" Sooro asked.
Junhyung looked hard at him and finally turned around and left the room.
"Sooro sem, are you just gonna let him go?? What if he leaves and Doojoon finds him again?" Yoseob asked.
"He wont." Sooro simply said. "But just in case. Hyunseung, Yoseob. You and Kikwang and Dongwoon keep an eye on him."
"K Sooro sem." Hyunseung said, then he pushed Yoseob out with him.
"Now Haneul. Would you like to go to training?" Sooro asked.
"S-sure." Haneul stuttered.
"Dont worry. Everyone here is easy to get along with. We're like a family." Sooro said smiling.
THen G.na led Haneul out to her training class.
"Hey girls! You have a new addition." G.na yelled to 5 pretty girls.
"Hey G.na!!" One girl came running over. "Hey.. umm.."
"Haneul. Cho Haneul. Nice to meet you." Haneul bowed politely.
"Hey Haneul. I'm Kim Hyuna. Nice to meet you too." "Jiyoon. Wassup." "Alright. YOu guys get to know Haneul and be nice okay?" G.na said while leaving.
"Hey Haneul sit with us." Hyuna said.
Haneul sat down.
"SO.. You wana know our powers??" Hyuna asked excitedly.
"Sure." Haneul agreed smiling.
"Okay. Watch this." Hyuna stood up and she put her hands in front of her. She was concentrating and her hair was floating up slightly in the air. She opened her eyes and they were completely white light. Then something like a white electric ball shot out of her hands and hit the wall. There was a huge hole in the wall.
"Woo-hoo!" Jihyun yelled. Everyone clapped.
"Cool huh?/" Hyuna asked. Haneul was amazed, "That was amazing....."
"My turn!" Jihyung said. She and hyuna both stood up and hyuna did the same electric ball thing again at Jihyun and Jihyun caught it and compressed it then threw it back at the wall.
They high fived.
"I can deflect and catch energy like that." Jihyun told Haneul. Haneul just simply nodded. so far everything seemed soo.. amazing.
This time it was Jiyoon's turn. she stuck her hand out to the floor and part of it lifted from the ground. Then she dropped it back down.
"I can lift up rocks. but only rocks. huh?" Jiyoon said.
Haneul shook her head, "Not at all.. just being able to lift rocks without touching them is pretty awesome."
Gayoon was next. "You should close your ears just in case." Haneul did so the same as everyone else.
Then Gayoon opened and loud sonic sounds came out.
"Woah...." Haneul was even more amazed.
"Me!!" Sohyun sprang up. she spread out her arms on either side of her and concentrated. Then there was wind going over in the room.
"Your guys' powers are all so amazing..." Haneul said shocked.
"Well. NOw it's your turn Haneul. Show us your power." Hyuna said.
"I..." Haneul hesitated. She looked down at her hands and suddenly remembered what happened in the past.
"We wont force you to. If its uncomfortable." Jihyun said.
Haneul shook her head, "I-I can change my skin into anything that i touch." Then she demonstrated with the metal leg of the table. Her whole fist up to her wrist turned into the same metal as the leg of the table.
"Whoaaaaa" They exclaimed.
"Yeah..." Haneul said.
As they were talking about her power and how cool it was Junhyung was watching the whole time.
"She has an incredible power." A voice said. Junhyung looked beside him and saw Hyunseung.
"Yeah..." Junhyung agreed.
"You now understand right?? That we want to help her. As you can see... She probably has some secret about her power.. A burden that she has to carry because of that power. She needs this. Friends.. Who can help her and ease the burden. the pain." Hyunseung continued on.
Junhyung just kept staring at Haneul as she was smiling and having a good time with the girls. Then he walked away.
"Junhyung. You need it too. Friends." Hyunseung stopped Junhyung for abit. But then he walked away.
Hyunseung sighed, looked at Haneul then walked away too.
