"Bro, wake up." Enchong's brother, AJ said.

"Anong oras na?"

"6:30."

"Ha? Really?" he quickly get up and head to the shower room.

He fixed himself, texted Kim and said he can't fetch her today. After that, he went downstairs.

"Bro, have to go. Male-late na ako."

"Eat your breakfast muna."

"Di na bro."

"Di mo pa ako mapagbigyan. Minsan na nga lang ako umuwi eh."

Enchong felt guilty and joined his brother on his breakfast.

"Mabilis lang 'to ah."

"Sure. Bro, may problema ka sa girl ano?"

"Huh?"

"Heard you last night talking to yourself. So, who's the lucky girl?"

"Bro naman. You know who she is."

"Same girl, huh. Di ka pa din nagtatapat until now?"

"That's the problem. I'm very tight-lipped."

"Mauunahan ka nyan, bro. Kim is a very beautiful girl."

"I know. Sana lang 'di nya magustuhan si Gerald *sigh*. Sige bro, have to go. Bye."

"Take care!"

After their class, Kim get ready for her dinner with Gerald. She wore a green knee-length dress that perfectly fits her and a  3-inch heels. Gerald wore denim pants, black dress shirt and a white tie. Around 6pm, Gerald is already at the Martz' Park. He doesn't want her date to wait. After a while, she saw Kim and can't take his eyes off of her. She's soooo beautiful. Kim waved her hand in front of him.

"Hellooo?"

"Ha? Uh.. I'm sorry. You look so beautiful tonight." he said and kissed her hand.

"Thanks." she removed her hand from him.

"Let's go."

"Where are we going?"

"Wait and you'll see." and flashed her his smile.

She rode on his car and it stopped in front of a Chines Restaurant. Gerald open the door for her and guide her in getting out of the car.

"It's my first time here. I always wanted to eat here but hindi natutuloy."

"Glad you like it. Let's go?" he offered his hand on her and she took it. She's a bit uncomfortable helding Gerald's hand that's why she's shaking.

"Don't be scared. I'm a nice person."

She gave her a fake smile.

They went inside and head to their reservation. They get their order and while waiting, they chat for awhile. Kim find Gerald a funny and a gentleman person.

"*laughs so hard because of Gerald's senseless joke* Teka lang Ge, ha. Sa powder room lang ako."

"Take your time. Basta wag mo ako tatakasan ha?"

After retouching, she came out of the powder room and unexpectedly met someone.

"Kim?" said the boy in front of him.

She can't recognize him but the one standing in front of her really looks familiar.

"Uhm?"

"Kamusta na? Don't you remember me?"

"I'm sorry. Familiar ka sa akin but...."

"Ako si Baboy at ikaw si Ipis." he said while smiling.

"Oh my God!! Simon! Ikaw na ba yan?"

"Sino pa ba? Where's my hug?"

She gave him a teddy bear hug.

"I missed you so much, Baboy!"

"Nako, you forgot about me na nga eh."

"I didn't ha! You forgot about me. After you went to US hindi mo na ko e-nimail."

"I'm sorry naman. Busy lang talaga. Wait, why am I explaining? Eh you're the one who forgot me. You didn't recognized me nga eh." he prentended that he is badly hurt and put his hand on his chest.

Kim laughed and slapped his arms. "kasi naman, look at you now! Hunk ka na. Eh the last time I saw you, you were like baboy. Sooo fat!"

"Eh ikaw? You're voice is like an Ipis. Ang liit liit!"

"You wanna begin?"

"No. Hindi na po. Why are you here pala?"

"Friendly dinner lang with someone. Ikaw?"

"We own this restaurant eh."

"Really?"

"You think I'm kidding?"

"Sungit! Baboy!"

Suddenly, Gerald approached them.

"Kim? What took you so long? I thought sineryoso mo na sinabi ko."

"Hindi ah. Ay, Simon, si Gerald. Gerald, si Simon. Childhood friend ko."

"Hey."

They shook hands.

"Sige, we have to get back na. Si, we have a lots of catch up to do."

"Wait, your number?"

"Foolish me. I forgot about that." she gave him his number.

"Call you later. Enjoy!"

While eating their dinner...

"So, tell me about Simon."

"Why?"

"No reason."

"He's a nice guy."

"And?"

"And a very gentleman and funny guy."

"Like me?"

"Yes. Like you."

"Hmmm, so you think I'm a nice, gentleman and funny guy. This is a good start."

"My friends were saying something about you."

"And what's that? If that's negative, don't believe them."

"They say that you smoke, drinks a lot and a womanizer."

"Who told you that?"

"Your classmates."

"Name them."

"Xian and Jake."

"Ahh.. we'll that's true. Before."

"Before...." she repeated.

"...who make you change?"

"You."

"Me?"

"Yes. You."

"We've just met."

"You believe in love at first sight? That's what I felt for you." Gerald held her hand.

Kim felt uneasy. "Gerald, it's getting late. Thank you for the dinner. I really had fun."

They both left the restaurant and went back to park.

"Kim, I'll take you home."

"No need. I can take a cab naman."

"Do you think I'll let you? C'mon."

"Do I have a choice? Alam ko naman hindi ka susuko."

"Sa babaeng katulad mo." he continued.

"Alam mo ikaw, puro ka biro. Tara na nga."

Kim told him the direction towards her house.

"Dun na lang sa may brown roof."

"Yes, Ma'am." Gerald said and winked at her.

"Magkano po bayad, Manong?" she laughed.

"Kahit puso mo na lang po, Ma'am."

"Sorry. But my heart is too important to entrust to someone like you."

"And what's like me?"

"A stranger."

He turned serious. "Kim, I thought we're friends na?"

"Eto naman!  I'm just kidding. Sige, bye na. Thanks ulit for the dinner." she kissed him on the cheeks. They're both startled on what she just did.

"Good night. I've had a good time. See you!"

He opened the door for her, gave her one last look and left.

When he got home, Gerald called his bestfriend, Fred.

"Bro?"

"Sup? How's the date?"

"Okay naman. We're friends."

"So you're winning. Don't worry, nakahanda na yung pera."

"Bro, I don't need your money. I have a big problem!"

"Why? Busted?"

"I hope not. But, I think I'm starting to love her."

"You're kidding, right?"

"i'm ing dead serious. I never felt like this before on some random girls."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"The tell her you love her."

"Isn't that too fast, bro?"

"You have a point there. Just show her what you feel for her."

"How about the bet? Would I tell her?"

"No! That'll be a big mess. Keep it to yourself. Don't worry. I wont tell her about it."

"Thanks, bro."

"No problem. See 'ya tom."

"Sure."
