Gerald's side:

It was 5:30 in the morning when Gerald wake up from the sound of his alarm clock. He lazily open his eyes and went downstairs and was about to eat his breakfast when he saw an unexpected visitor.

"What are you doing here?"

"After all, this is our house, RJ." his Daddy Randy said.

"We're here to check on you."

"Wow. Is that all, Mom? Well, here I am. I'm okay. You can go now."

"Don't ever talk to your Mom like that! Respect her!"

"Why? Do you even respect me? Go now. You're ruining my day."

His Dad was about to slap him when Vangie stopped him.

"Let's go, Randy. Let's leave him alone."

When his parents left, his Yaya Gina approached him.

"RJ, you okay?"

"Yes, Mamang. C'mon let's eat. Sabayan mo naman ako oh."

"Asus. Naglambing. Tara na nga."

While eating...

"Mamang, am I that rude?"

"RJ, you're not rude. Pinapalabas mo lang sa parents mo na masama ka. Naghahanap ka ng pagmamahal sa kung sino-sinong tao dahil hindi 'yon kayang ibigay ng magulang mo sa'yo. Ako ang nag-alaga sa'yo since you were born. Alam ko kung gaano ka kabait na tao. Napupuno lang ng galit 'yang puso mo."

"Thank you, Mamang."

She hugged him. He treat his Yaya Gina as her mom because he feels he doesn't have one. His parents were always on work and didn't have time for him. They always leave him alone but thanks to his Yaya who's been very supportive to him.

After taking a shower, he dressed in his uniform. He ride in his car and went to school. He head at the back of their school's canteen. His usual "tambayan" with his friends. He found Fred, Mike and Ali waiting for him.

"Bro!"

"Hey." he said in his usual tone but it's obvious that there is sadness in his eyes.

"What's up? What's 'yo problem?"

"Si Dad kasi eh."

"What?"

"He visited me kanina. Ayun, nagkasagutan nanaman."

"Di ka pa nasanay bro?"

The bell suddenly rang. They walk briskly towards their room when suddenly Gerald bumped into someone.

"Ooops.." he said.

"Naman! Di kasi nag i ingat eh."

He help the girl with her things that fell on the floor.

"Miss, I'm sorry."

Kim looked at the man she bumped into and saw it was Gerald. She became even more mad.

"Sa susunod kasi mag-ingat ka."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"Kim, tara na." Enchong said helping Kim to get up.

After Kim and Enchong left, Mike tease Gerald.

"Bro, you can't please all the girls in this school pala. Hindi gumana yung charm mo!"

"Loko! Pakipot lang 'yun. Tignan mo in just one week, she'll be my girlfriend. What's her name again? Ah, Kim.. Nice name."

"Are you challenging us?"

"Hmmm..A bet?" Ali said with a devilish grin.

"Sure. 50,000?"

"60."

"70."

"Deal."

"It's 70 then."

They head to their class before their teacher came in.
