Jaerin's POV 

The next day I woke up early, and got ready for school. When I entered the school gate, Sehun came running up to me while the other just lazily followed him from behind.

" What's up with them?" I asked Sehun

"I don't know... They're probably just tired" He shrugged.

"Tired?, from what?" 

"Oh, we were on our way home last night, when the hyungs decided to go to the club"

" You guys went to the club?" I asked with my eyes wide open" 

" No, they went to the club.  Us 94-96 liners went straight home"

"Oh" With that we went to our first period dragging the others with us 

When we entered the classroom, Chanyeol came back to being himself again and made his way to Jae Ah, who just gave him  a small smile.

*since when did they became so friendly?*

"Uhhm guys, I'll be right back"  YoungJae said while fixing his shirt. He then walked up to Yerin who seems to be spacing out, since she nearly jumped when Youngjae put his arm around her shoulder.

"Are they dating?" I asked myself, but loud enough to let the others hear

" I don't think they're dating, but I'm pretty sure those two are in love with your friends" Daehyun answered

All my classes went by really fast, I'm now on my way to the cafeteria with Luhan and Zelo, and we sat on our regular table with the rest of the guys.
We usually just sit for 10 minutes before we get our lunch. Everyone talked about diifferent stuff that I could careless about, so I decided to drown myself in my own thoughts. Then few minutes later Yerin, and Jae ah came in both arm in arm like the three of us used to do.

I"d be lying if I say I don't miss them, cause right now I just want to hug them tight, and tell them how much I miss them. But when i'm about to say hi to them all the things they told me just comes back and get the best of me. Like one time, Yerin talked to me, but thanks to my stupidity I just ignored her. I don't know what's up with me, but sometimes I just want to punch myself in the face.

"Aren't you getting your lunch?" Yongguk asked

"oh yeah, I forgot"  I was about to go in the line, when I saw Yerin running out of the cafeteria, and Jae ah chasing after her, and just like the last time Jae ah was also crying

*What's going on with them*  I got so curios that I decided to follow them, and I exit the cafeteria, I saw Jae ah making a turn to the staircase that leads to the roof. I took a very deep breath, and followed her.

From the inside, I can hear both of them talking, But none of their words are clear enough for me to understant.  I gently opened the door, but I stopped  halfway, when I heard someone throwing up.

" Are you okay?" I heard Jae ah asked, so I assumed that it was Yerin throwing up.

"No!!! I can't do this anymore!! why can't I just die already, That's where i'm gonna end up anyway!!!!" Yerin cried 

" Stop saying stuff like that, you're not gonna die okay, the last time I check you're Yerin, the girl who would not let anything ruin her life" Jae ah said, but It sounds like she was also crying 

*why are they talking about death?* I mummbled, I countinued to listen hoping to understand what they were talking about

" Jae ah you heard what the Doctor said, there's no more chance for me to live longer" Yerin calmly said 

As soon as Yerin finished the sentence I felt my stomach turn, and pushed the door wide open, earning both my friends' attention.
I can tell that both of them were shock from my sudden appearance.

" what do you mean, You're not gonna live any longer?" I asked Yerin

" let's go Jae ah" Yerin said dragging Jae ah with her 

" STOP!! answer my question" I demamded

" Look, it's nothing, Just go live your precioius life, and don't bother asking us any questions involving the conversation you just heard" She coldly spat on my face. 

" No Yerin, I know your just saying that because you care about me, but please tell me what's going on" I begged

" you want to know what's going on? (She started crying) ...... fine, I've been- "

"STOP It's fine Yerin, you don't have to tell her" Jae ah said  "I'll tell her later, but right now all you need to do is go home and rest... okay? Jae ah added

Yerin just gently nodded, and went back inside the school.

" Can you please tell me what's going on" I looked straight in to Jae ah's eyes 

"Fine" she took a deep breath

" 6 months ago, Yerin started to get sick really often till now, She faints. throw up, she lose a lot of weight,  we begged her to go see a doctor, but she was scared, I had to go down on my knees just to get her to go, she said she'd only go, if I go with her,  after a month the result came out, and we found out that she's been suffering from cancer, All these months we did nothing, but go in, and out of the hospital, It hurts seeing her like that, every night she would beg me to call you, she would always tell me, how much she misses you. Yesterday we found out that her cancer went from stage 2 to 3, that's why I called you, I thought that you can cheer her up, by making up , but you didn't answer your so I thought you don't care about us anymore. Jaerin We miss you, especially Yerin, she needs both of us right now, can we please go back to the way we were 8 months ago, let's forget about what happened" 

" Will she make it?" I asked, to be honest I'm scared of the answer she's going to give me

" the doctor said there are little chance that she'll make it"  But let's hope for the best
