‘Seo, get down here!’  Yuri yells. ‘ Chanyeol wants to tell us something!’

‘No he doesn’t. He isn’t even here.’

‘I AM here. Get out of your room before I get mad. I have something important to tell all of you.’ It was her brother’s voice.

‘Fine…’ sighs Seohyun. She quickly wipes her tears, washes her face, brushes her still messy hair and runs down the stairs. She sees Jiyeon and Chanyeol standing, perhaps getting ready to tell their friends the important announcement. Yuri and Luhan are both sitting on the sofa, holding hands. They look uncomfortable.

‘May I?’ asks Seo suggesting that she wants to sit.

‘Of course’ Luhan assures her while smiling. Seohyun sits beside him.

‘So, are you ready for the announcement?’ Jiyeon asks

‘We are!’ Both Luhan and Seohyun affirm

‘Uhm.. me too…’ Yuri agrees.  

‘We are getting married!’ Chanyeol announces

Everybody is in shock. Luhan seems to be happy about it. Seohyun and Yuri are not satisfied at all. Seo knows that if Jiyeon and Chanyeol are going to get married, she will never have the chance to live a happy life together with Luhan. Yuri’s heart is broken. She never felt this way before. It’s awful, unbelievable. She can’t believe it!

‘You are joking, right?’ wonders Yuri

‘What makes you think like that? Of course we are not joking!’ Jiyeon says

‘It sounded too nice to be real’ Yuri lies

‘Let’s celebrate! What about going to a restaurant for the dinner?’ Luhan proposes.

‘I want to go to a seafood restaurant. Agree?’ says Yul

‘Perfect! Now get ready!’ Chanyeol says

*after about 1 hour*
’Is everybody ready?’ asks Seohyun

‘Yes. Oh wow, look at my beautiful future wife. She is so gorgeous!’ says Chanyeol

‘Indeed!’ agrees Seo

‘Seo look at Yuri. Isn’t she flawless?’ asks Luhan

‘Without a doubt’ sighs Seo ‘I guess we are ready now. Let’s go’

After 30 minutes of driving in the crowded Seoul, they finally arrive. Everybody orders except Seohyun.

‘Are you alright? You seem sad plus you didn’t order anything.’ Asks Chanyeol

‘I’m OK, I am not hungry’ Seohyun smiles. Everybody believes her but she lied. She wasn’t ok. Everybody looks so happy except her. She’s the only one slowly falling apart. She’s the only one fake smiling while dying and crying inside. This feeling is awful.

‘So when are you two going to get married?’ Seohyun tries to comfort herself by asking questions in order to forget about her inner thoughts and Luhan

‘Didn’t we tell you? It is going to happen next week. We planned it a few weeks ago but we weren’t sure you’ll accept us’ Chanyeol says

‘You don’t even care’ Yuri mumbles. Only Luhan heard that

‘Sorry, what did you say?’ asks Jiyeon

‘I said that the meal was delicious’ Yuri affirms ‘Seo, would you like to come with me at the balcony?’

‘Sure’

The girls walk until they can’t hear their friends

‘What is wrong?’ asks Seo

‘What a stupid question! You act like you don’t know! Your brother is getting married and he is not getting married with the one who deserves his love. He is  not getting married with me!” angrily says Yuri ‘And you don’t look happy either!’

‘Except for the fact that I wanted you and my brother to be together, I’m perfectly ok.’ Seohyun lies

‘You can’t lie to me. I can read you like a book’

‘Whatever, at least you have Luhan. You should be happy that you have someone who loves you and you have friends to talk to.’

‘But I don’t love Luhan. He doesn’t love me either. I was supposed to be Yeol’s wife! It’s not fair! Why is it happening to me?’ Yuri starts crying

‘If it is supposed to happen, it WILL happen. Stop crying! Let’s face it, you can’t change anything now!’ Seohyun says

‘Why are you being like this? A true friend should be supportive.’ Yul declares

‘A true friend should be realist! Seohyun disagrees

‘Sorry for being too annoying. I just feel like the whole world has turned against me’

‘It’s ok. You only have to understand that you can’t change anything in this moment. You should have done something before’

‘I know. I should have told him.’

‘Now wipe your tears, keep your head up and show them that you are the greatest person they will ever meet.’

They walk back at the table. Seo starts to feel very sick. She sits down. The young lady gets very pale. Only Luhan can see this. He grabs her wrist and takes her outside:

‘Seo, do you hear me? What’s wrong with you? You have gotten so thin lately! And you are so pale now!’

‘I.. will be… okay.’ Seohyun whispers

Luhan calls Chanyeol and tells him that his sister is feeling bad. Chanyeol, Jiyeon and Yuri get out and they all put Seo in the car. The girl falls asleep on Luhan’s lap.
