Flashback

“I give up. It’s 45 minutes till my dinner appointment. What do you want to know about him?”

“Everything.”

“He doesn’t belong to the Hwang family anymore. You have no idea how much I hate that guy we are talking about.”

Luhan looked at Baekhee, utterly shocked.  D-did she just say that she hated her dad? How could she? Without him, she won’t even be here! 

“You’re probably wondering why I hate him. I have reasons. And you don’t have to know them. At least not now. I need to go now, so see you tomorrow.” Baekhee said with no expression on her face, stood up and left.

Luhan just sat there. How was she able to read my mind?

“Baekhee!” Kyungsoo yelled from the front of the classroom. Baekhee looked up from her book and smiled at him. He made his way to take his seat beside her.

“Hey, Kyungsoo. So, how was going to school without me for the first time?”

“It was fine, but this jerk was pissing me off during the entire journey here.” Kyungsoo turned around and pointed at Luhan, who was busy talking to Sehun. Baekhee chuckled, and ruffled his hair.

“Gosh, you’re so cute when you complain about your brother.”

Luhan turned around just in time to see Baekhee ruffling his brother’s hair, smiling and laughing. Something started burning his chest, and he knew it was not a good sign. He had to look away before he punched something, or even worse, someone. But he couldn’t. No matter how hard he tried, it was just impossible. Baekhee was flashing a rare smile. It was just so… so beautiful. He didn’t want it to disappear, nor did he want her to flash that to someone else other than Luhan himself.

“Kyungsoo! Do you mind coming here for a minute? Kai wants to talk to you.” Luhan used Jongin’s nickname as a trick to lure Kyungsoo here, knowing the amount of affection both have for each other even though they fight sometimes. Jongin shot Luhan a glare, but Luhan looked back with a face that seemed to say, “Do-this-for-me, bro. Just-this-once. Or-maybe-a-little-more-in-the-future.” Jongin sighed, and looked back with a “You’re-a-moron, but, hey, it’s-your-funeral” face. “Yeah, Kyungsoo. Come here, it’s really important.” Luhan smiled and mouthed a ‘Thank you’ to Jongin. Kyungsoo scrambled over to him, nearly tripping over the bags on the floor. Baekhee laughed again, thinking of how cute Kyungsoo was, even without trying. Luhan looked at her and groaned. Looks like my plan was backfired.

I was too busy sleeping all day long. And since my aunt from Myanmar is here to visit my family, I had to tag along if she wanted to go anywhere. But I didn’t really mind, cos she buys whatever I want to get. I definitely felt bad, but hey. I liked the feeling of not having to pull your own wallet out for something you want. XD now now, don’t tell me you don’t like the feeling. btw, this chapter is utter crap, ohkay. I just wanted to let you guys know how jealousy starts in Luhan. a small teaser: Luhan might be falling for Baekhee. ;) ISN’T IT OBVIOUS. See you later, maybe tomorrow or Saturday.
