Chapter 14 - Captured
Monsters: The MousetrapKiki walked through the sewers with Hana in his arms, he was reluctant to do this job, but if he didn’t then Hyosung would have gotten to her first. At least this way, he can try and protect her. She was pretty, the random streaks of moonlight that hit her face brought out the color in her hair. She had some red in the brunette head of hers.
He knew Hyosung wouldn’t want her though, she wasn’t pretty enough for Hyosung but she was perfect for him. She could save him, if she could love him, he didn’t know how she could. Nor did he know what she could do to save him, but he knew it was her.
If only Hyosung had gloated some more, then he could find out what this girl needed to do for him. He approached the middle room and saw Hyosung waiting for him as she lounged on her throne. She jumped up in excitement as she saw him walk towards her.
“You did it, Kiki!” She said excitedly. She ran towards him with a huge grin on her face. “Well, well. Is this her?” She asked.
Kiki grunted in response, he gestured at the girl in his arms, asking Hyosung what he should do with her. He didn’t want Hyosung to dispose of her right away, he knew she wouldn’t do that either. She just had to keep her in hiding somehow.
“Toss her in one of the cells or something, but tie her up. I know you don’t tie up the others since they can’t run, but she’s still young.” Hyosung told him. “And cover too, don’t let her talk.” She said dismissively, before going back to her throne.
He nodded and took her into the cell next to his. He would be able to keep a close eye on her there, he sat her down on a bale of hay that they had kept the sewers, it was the girls’ comfort, they had something “soft” to sit on when they felt like it.
After setting up her down, he looked around for a zip tie. Hyosung preferred zip ties to handcuffs, since handcuffs could be picked. He reached for her hands and tied her hands in front of her comfortably and moved away to his own cell.
He would wait for her to wake up and try to take it from there. Hopefully, Hyosung wouldn’t interfere, if he remembered correctly she had an interview or something to go to in the morning. She would leave them down here for a while.
It took several hours for the spell to wear off, but Hana stirred in her sleep slightly, she felt restraints on her hands before she woke up completely. She groaned, moving around, her head was spinning. She knew she was lying down on something but couldn’t figure out what it was.
She heard a grunt next to her and tried to turn in the direction of the noise. She blinked her eyes once, twice, before her vision cleared. It was the monster that had kidnapped her and brought her here. She sat up quickly and closed her eyes as her head spun. She shouldn’t have gotten up so fast.
Once the world righted itself, she looked around. On her left was the monster, on her right was another cell that had five old ladies in it, they all stared at her with longing, pleading looks on their faces. She didn’t understand why they were looking at her like that.
The soft sound of something dripping interrupted her thoughts, she looked behind her and saw pipes leaking. She muttered a curse under her breath, how stupid could she have been, Hyosung was keeping them in the sewers, it had water to keep the monster under control, a lot of space and easy access to everywhere in the city.
“Where is she?” She asked aloud, her voice echoed along the walls. The old ladies in all of the cells started to mutter and mumble. She stood up and walked towards the door, it was locked, but not with a key. It was jammed somehow, but she couldn’t see where.
But the only thing that concerned her was just how many old ladies surrounded her. She could see at least five other cells and each of them had at least five women in them. But who they were, it didn’t click in her head yet. Why would Hyosung keep old ladies down here if she wanted to stay young?
Her best bet was to try and communicate with the monster, she moved to the left wall of her cell and saw into his room. He gave her sad eyes as he tried to avoid her stare. “Hey you, can you talk?” She asked him.
He looked at her and shook his head. Hana sighed, “So much for that plan.” She sank to the ground and looked at her hands. The zip tie was clever, she thought to herself, now if only she could find her way out of here.
She heard the monster grunt again, she looked up at him. “What?” He grunted again, “You want to talk?” She asked.
He nodded his head. “Okay, let me ask you questions and you just give me a yes or no."
