My Last Thank You
Consternation of Him[Author's Note: 13/08/02] After a month and a few days, I've managed to complete this story. There were many times were I just wanted to stop writing - I lost the inspiration for this story, I guess. But I remembered you guys - my readers. I couldn't fail you guys. You showed me your support in different ways, either by commenting, subscribing, or upvoting. Let me take a moment to thank those who upvoted. You know who you are. You guys made me the happiest, so thank you. I really am so thankful. Commenters, you guys made my day much brighter. You shared your thoughts with me, and I was happy to read them. Subscribers - you are the readers why I even write. In fact, all of you are the reason why I write. I'm really thankful - I can't say it enough. So let me talk about the story itself.
I had this idea in my head for a while, but I just couldn't put it into words. But finally, I found myself writing the beginning of the story - and the chapters soon followed afterwards. I know this story ended rather suddenly, and it progressed rather quickly. The reason being is that I'm not used to writing short stories such as this one. I usually write twenty chapters and longer stories. I wanted to challenge myself into writing a short story - less than ten chapters. But you do realize there can't be any happy ending for Jiyeon and Myungsoo. They are from two different worlds - literally.
I really wanted to use this story as a way to include some realistic factors of life as well. I portrayed Jiyeon as a symbol of irony - a doctor afraid of death. Things in life can be rather ironic, and hopefully you caught onto this idea when you read the chapters. I don't know how to explain Myungsoo's situation - things get can get rather complicated in life and you have to make a choice between two things you want very much. Anyway, enough about the explaining. I just wanted to give my last words of thanks.
Hopefully, I'll see you all sometime soon - whether it be on my other stories and whatnot. Check them out below if you haven't just yet. Thank you guys once more - remember this though. All dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them, Walt Disney once said. So don't be afraid - let your imagination take you everywhere.
