4 ∞

“Excuse me.”

I took a step back and pivoted just in time to spot a smiling Myungsoo about to put his dainty hands on the small of my back.

“I couldn’t help but to approach you, I think I might be under a spell after seeing you dance in such a charming way.” He said while leaning against the bar with his hands still on my back, making sure I wouldn’t distance myself.

‘Darling, if you just knew you’re the one who should be getting far away from me…’ I thought while smiling my sweetest.

“Oh really, why thank you. Now if you will excuse me, …” I made a gesture to the bartender about to order a drink when Mr Kim himself took the lead and ordered two Martini Royale Rosato and smirked in my direction.

“It’s on me, I wouldn’t be a gentleman if I didn’t offer a drink to such a beautiful lady.”

Once our drinks served we took each our respective glasses and he led me to his private table. On the way I searched for Woohyun and saw him smiling a lecherous smile and making kissy faces towards us while taking out his camera, I couldn’t help but to roll my eyes at his greasy ways…

‘Well he isn’t throwing hearts, it’s a start. Thank god he has a camera in hands!’

As soon as we arrived at Myugnsoo’s booth I couldn’t help but to widen my eyes, it must have cost a hell of a lot to book this. The booth had a full view of the dance floor, the table was made of marble and the cushioned seats were vast and looked comfortable, but what really caught my eye was the facts that the girls from earlier were all gone. I smiled inwardly and my ego grew just a little knowing I had succeeded in taking his full undivided attention.

Once we took our seats while I made sure we were in Woohyun’s camera angle I smiled dazzlingly towards Myungsoo, who was smirking my way. I had to admit he sure is quite the seducer and if I were someone else his y smirk would have my already wet.  

“So, does this charming lady have a name?”

“Kim Hyuna and yours?”

“Kim Myungsoo”

After minutes of flirting and attempts at unravelling his secrets all I got were little anecdotes who weren’t scandal material at all. This guy was normal, as normal as an idol can get and it was really frustrating.

However…

“Yeah and when I finally got my hands on the little kitten the branch I was on started to crack and well… I’m sure you grasp what went on after that!” he said while sporting a boyish smile on his handsome face and for the first time this night I was actually fascinated, forgetting my real purpose.

“Cheez and the kitten, what happened to the poor thing?”

“Hyuna, are you really more interested in the kittens health than mine? I could have died at the young age of 8, it was an enormous high tree you know!”

“You’re here so you obviously survived, now tell me what happened to the kitten!” I said excitedly, getting a hang out of teasing him.

“You’re mean, I broke some ribs and my arm and all you think about is a cat who sprang out of my grasp and landed safely on the ground.” He said pouting while sporting a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“Well it’s not my fault kittens are adorable!" I said while sticking out my tong.

"Anyway I’ll be right back, need to powder my nose” And thus I made my way to the restroom feeling quite happy, however Woohyun got in my way before I could get in.

“So, how is it going with prince charming?” Woohyun asked while wiggling his eyebrows and just like that reality came crashing down.

“Nothing much, he is … normal, the guy is normal!”

“Hyuna, even normal people have secrets.” his serious tone was enough to get my old spirits back and just like that I pivoted while throwing a

“Yeah and you know I won’t stop till I divulge his darkest secret!”

“Haha, that’s the girl I know! Anyway, seeing as you will surely get a ride from him I’ll be on my way.”

And just like that we parted ways and after getting my business done I returned to Myungsoo’s table feeling a little down and not knowing why.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I know, it’s been a long while.. But life, or better yet problems got in the way.

Well I don’t like this chapter, maybe it’s due to my retreating MyungAh feelings and as such… ideas! Anyway I’ll be updating again tomorrow.
