Overmorrow

Description

Overmorrow: the day after tomorrow. 

 

Kim Mingyu, a person whom if offered with two useless sticks and a box full of memories, would have no second thoughts on choosing the sticks. Later on he would figure out a way to use them to burn the box along with the one who offered it to him.

Jeon Wonwoo, a person whom if offered all the money in the world against a box full of memories, would choose the latter and burn the money to ashes as he holds onto that precious box.  

Kim Mingyu wants nothing but to forget, while all that's left for Jeon Wonwoo is to remember because there is no more tomorrow waiting for a person like him.

ADMIN NOTE: Okay, I should warn you guys, if you can't take angst or full of heartbreak fanfics then please stop reading my fic now. 'Cause this won't be the usual full of fluff and happy endings fanfic. If you choose to stay, please enjoy (?) the fic. ^^ Thank you!

"Do you know that there is actually a word for the day after tomorrow?" Wonwoo asked Mingyu as he stared out the window and watched the droplets of rain race with each other. "You mean 'overmorrow'?" Mingyu answered unsure, not about his answer but about why Wonwoo was asking, he sipped all that was still left in his cup of coffee and went to seat down next to Wonwoo on his hospital bed. "Yeah, that one. I like that word." Wonwoo says as he smiles bitterly. "I―I like it too." Mingyu's voice was low but it echoed inside the empty room; the two of them were there but even so, they were both drained and empty as well. Silence followed after that, painful silence. They both knew that overmorrow was just as impossible as tomorrow was...
