Smile

I Need Someone

Hyunwoo's P.O.V:
The weekends are always the same. I get stuck cleaning around the house and doing school work while Kwanghee's still bottled up in his room. This weekend was no different. I just finished sweeping the kitchen and was now making lunch for the two of us. It's tiring, but I don't mind doing it.

I put the two plates of food on the table for us and called Kwanghee to eat. He quietly came out of his room and slipped into the chair across from me. We ate quietly throughout the meal, but just as he was about to stand up, I told him to wait.

"Can I ask you something?" I said, noticing he stiffened a bit. He slightly nodded as I hesitantly continued. "Why... Don't you smile anymore?"

Kwanghee's P.O.V:
My ears perked from this question as I slightly widened my eyes. "I mean, I know it's a weird question but really, how long has it been since you well, smiled?" He continued. I shrugged a bit, getting up from my seat and heading to the kitchen, trying to avoid he question. He grabbed his plate and followed me. "Kwanghee... Seriously, it's a bit worrying." He said, concern in his voice. "We're best friends, and we see each other everyday, but... I haven't seen you smile since a few weeks into this school year. Do you not like the school? Do you not like our apartment? C'mon, what is it?" He sounded a bit desperate to know the answer, but I shrugged the thought off,

Hyunwoo's P.O.V:
Kwanghee turned to me and gave me a huge smile, maybe a bit to much teeth... And he was obviously trying to hard, but it was something. I suppressed a laugh, seeing as it was really quite cute. "See? I'm smiling, nothing to worry about." He said through his teeth. I finally gave in and chuckled. His big smile quickly faded though as he began walking back to his room.

"Okay well, if you're not gonna tell me, the least you can do if walk home with me tomorrow... please?" I said. He stopped in his tracks and looked back. "I can't, I, uh, have to go get groceries." I quirked my eyebrow. "Kwanghee, we don't need groceries we have a lot of things." He noticeably froze. "Well, uh-" I cut him off. "Whatever you have to do tomorrow after school can wait, please just walk home with me? Just this once?" I said, hopefully. He sighed. "Fine." He simply said as he walked away to his room. A big smile spread on my face as I walked away.

Chapter 2: Had no idea Hyunwoo would have a crush on Kwanghee, poor boy's too timid. Kwanghee seriously need some help. and i love how you made Kwanghee all dark character with secrets, and a perfect student, gloomy personality and all...it's not the typical noisy cheerful role he always get n i love this break from stereotypes thing. though i do wish the chapters a little longer, but if shorter chaps are more effective for you then it's alrite. Thanks for the update n keep it up~
