The Next Day

Hyun Woo's P.O.V:

School went by as usual, same old same old. Even after school the usual thing happened, Kwang Hee saying he was gonna stay late, as he said everyday. I never questioned him anymore 'cause he always said the same things.  I walked home alone, thinking about how much I missed walking with Kwang Hee. It was always so fun, laughing the whole way home and cracking jokes. He wasn't like that anyore though and I still can't tell why. He used to laugh all the time and there wasn't a second of the day that the smile on his face would dissapear. I miss the old him.

Kwang Hee's P.O.V:

We sat at the table for dinner. We both ate quietly, as always. I glanced at Hyun Woo who was eyeing me weirdly, but I just ignored it and continued to eat. Just as I was about to take another bite, Hyun Woo spoke up. "Whats that?". I looked at him and put my food down. "What's what?" I answered. He poked a red mark on my jaw, right where I had cut myself when one of the bullies pushed me down. I winced a bit and softly nudged his finger away. I tried to look calm, but really I was terrified. I didn't know what to say. This has never happened, I usually hide it so well. "It's paint" I said, bluntly. He looked at me confused. "But, you didn't have art today.." I looked at him, my eyes slightly wide as I scrambled for an excuse. I quickly said "It's from what I was doing after school". He cocked an eyebrow, but nodded his head. I calmed myself and began to eat again.

Thanks for reading :) I realize this chapter was super short, but next will be longer, I just couldn't think of anything to add. Oh & I know this part was small but, it does have a big impact & big part in the story. :)
