The Start
I Need Someone
Kwang Hee's P.O.V:
I left the school just like every other day, beaten up, tears in my eyes. I moved here about a month ago with my best friend, Hyun Woo. We were friends since we were children, always together. Our parent's made us move here to go to a better school. I enjoyed it here at first when it was summer but, then school started. I hate it.
I kept walking. At the beginning of the school year, me and Hyun Woo would walk home together, but as time went by, I made excuses to stay late. Whether it was a fake homework club, talking to the principal, or cleaning my locker, he always believed it. I knew I would have to face them eventually, whether I ran away or stayed. I figured running away would make it worse, so I stayed and took the pain. I found a way to hide it, and trust me, making excuses to go out and buy makeup was quite hard.
I arrived at our small apartment building and went to our apartment. I opened the door, hoping, after all these weeks, that Hyun Woo still wouldn't notice. He looked at me as I entered, giving me a smile and a small "Hey". I forced a smile back, not replying and went straight to my room.
The door opened and Hyun Woo walked in. I looked at him. "Hi." He said sitting on the bed across from where I was. I just stared at him. I haven't been talking much lately, seeing as I don't really want to. He gave me a confused look, "You gonna say anything?". I kept staring at him and let out a quiet "Hi". "You okay?" Hyun Woo asked, a bit of concern in his eyes. I sat silently for a few seconds "Y-yeah." I muttered. "You sure?" He asked, obviously wanting to know. "I'm sure." I replied. He took one more glance at me before leaving the room. I sat back in the chair I was in, with my eyes stinging with tears.
