Lee Hyukjae
An 18-year old who has been blind since birth. Due to his handicap, his parents are very protective of him, and he has been isolated from the rest of the world, save his best friend Junsu and relatives.
Lee Donghae
Donghae is 24, and is supposed to have found his Guide by this point. His powers are ranked amongst the highest, causing him to have even more difficulties maintaining mental stability due to his lack of a partner.

Park Jungsu (Leeteuk)
24-year old Jungsu is the leader of the guild, and the eldest Guide. He originally founded the guild alongside Heechul, and is considered the 'umma' of the group. His partner is Kim Kangin.
Kim Heechul
The same age as Leeteuk, Heechul is his compliment in terms of personality. Brash and upfront, he comes across as very aggressive, but cares deeply about the members of his guild. His partner is Hankyung.

Sentinels:
Sentinels are the dominant in the relationship. They are born with heightened senses and powers/abilities that they cannot fully control, which strain their mental capabilities. Due to this, each Sentinel born has a partner or soul mate, a Guide, that they are required to be Bonded to.
Guides:
Guides bear the mental burdens in their relationship, and are considered psychics. As implied by their names, it is their job to help their partners maintain control, and can communicate with their partners, through both emotions and telepathically. Typically, when the Sentinel's powers mature, Guides are able to sense and seek out their presence, a skill they acquire through an Academy.
Both Guides and Sentinels are easily identifiable after birth by their eyes. Whenever a Sentinel's abilities are in use, or their senses spike, their pupils will become slits. A Guide's pupils resemble a cross-shape whenever their psychic abilities are activated, or if they are coping with their partner's emotions.
Guilds:
Guilds are like families, a group of Sentinel-Guide partnerships. They typically share a home- having more Guides present helps soothe the agitation any Sentinel feels, and keeps them more under control.
