The complications of High School
L.Joe's POV.
Something's wrong with Niel he's been acting weird. He is always sensitive and i know he's scared of meting new people, especially after all the bulling Jr and Baekho put him through. I keep telling him he needs to tell someone about it so they can stop those evil bastards but Niel won't let me, and besides it will only make the situation worse.
I left him alone in his room and sat on the couch. Maybe it's his new girlfriend thats been making him this way.....that . I want to know whats wrong with Niel but I'm not one to be in the girly "lets talk this through" situations.
I wonder if Chunji is still mad at me, then there was a knock at the door. Oh thank god he's ok, now all i need to do is get him to talk to Niel and find out why he's been acting so strange.
I opened the door.
"Hi hyung" Ilhoon smiled and walked in followed by Minhyuk and Chunji
I smiled and lead them in. We sat on the couch as usual while Chunji instinctively went upstairs to see Niel, at his own accord of course. So i just glanced back to the two boys watching TV together. We sat for a while watching the latest episode of running man.
Chunji's Pov.
As soon as i got to Niels room i noticed something was up because he had his door close which he never usually did, i wonder whats up with him?
"Niel, welcome back" i smiled entering his room
I found him hurdled underneath the blankets, i stepped closer to him and pulled the blankets off his head.
"Niel...wake up" i smiled to him as i received his face
He was......crying
"AHH WHATS WRONG!!??!?!?"
"Chunji-ah, hi" he sniffed
"ARE YOU ALRIGHT!!!" I scream shaking him violently trying to get a response
"Yeah hyung, don't worry about me" he weakly smiled wiping his eyes
"No, telllllll meeeeeeee!!!"
"Chunji I'm fine"
"No your not"
"Yes i am, it's ok you don't have to worry"
"Is it ricky"
"No"
"Is it Changjo"
"No, it's fine"
"Is it.....baekho"
"No, I told you i can handle him"
I had trouble choking up that name ever since a last year when I tried to stop jr from hitting Niel they......it's the past now i try to push those old feelings out of my head. I never want to thing about that again.
"It's not him then what is it"
"I told you I'm fine"
"Your ing crying your not fine, NO ONE IS EVER FINE WHEN THEIR CRYING LIKE THAT"
"IM FINE"
"TELL ME WHATS GOING ON NOW!!!!"
"Chan Hee hyung I'm fine trust me"
"Just tell me whats wrong, you know i can help"
"I think........it's nothing never mind"
"You think what?"
"There is this......guy"
"Go on"
"I think I'm in love with him"
"What?" The message hadn't quiet reached my brain,
"I think I'm gay"
"GAY!! WHAT THE YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND HOW THE CAN YOU BE GAY!!!!"
"hyung don't get mad, you said you would understand"
"YOU HAVE A G. I. R. L. F. R. I. E. N. D!!!!!"
"I know"
"Well...."

I moved closer to him and gave him a hug as he started to cry again
"So who is.......this guy?"
"Will you get angry?"
"I'm sorry Nielly it's just surprising thats all.....i accept you"
"You sure"
"If you like this guy more than your girlfriend i have no problems with you being with him, that's what it means to be your best friend"
I gave him a reassuring smile and held him tighter.
"I'm in love with that new guy at school"
"Him....you mean Minsoo or cap or whatever l.joe calls him"
"Yeah..."
"I accept your choice but are you sure you like him that way"
"I have this weird feeling around him hyung, it's like....i can't explain it but it a nice feeling a wonder feeling"
"Awwww k Niel your in love" i teased
"It's not funny chanhee!!!"
"Whatever just hurry up and get dress don't forget we gotta go to work. Just remember your a guy, he's a guy, am here for you if he rejects you just keep in contact with Florence just in case"
Even though Niel and l.joe's parents were filthy rich, I wasn't and i needed a job to keep alive, Niel only works with me because he gets bored and l.joe is too lazy to work.
We work at the fancy restaurant about a 6 minute drive from my apartment, 9minutes walk from l.joe and Niels house. I'm a waiter so is Niel and Minhyuk, well Minhyuk is when he isn't secretly staring at Ilhoon who is his crush/bestfriend/the front desk attendant/one of my close friends
"And dry your eyes or l.joe'll think something's up and you know that boy is close to ahem and you know joe is a loud mouth"
"Hahaha ok hyung" I'm glad to see him smiling
I leave him alone to get dressed in his uniform.
Author's POV.
'That's the boy Baek was beating up the other day. I don't know why I feel different around him, like i need to protect him, his face makes me smile i feel sick when I know baekho could be hurting him. I don't know why' cap thought as he grabbed a shirt and got ready for his 'date' with Tiffany.
"Kisa I'm going out" Minsoo called walking out the door and checking the address Tiffany had given him
"Um.....ok"
"I'll be back at eight-ish ok?"
"Mhmm I'll just put your dinner in the fridge"
"Ok"
"Minsoo where exactly are you going"
"Don't worry it's ok"
"......ok then......bye"
Minsoo walked to the address since it wasn't far from his and Kisa's house. It was plain and boring like the other 50 houses on the street nothing like his.
*knock knock knock*
Tiffany rushed to the door in hope that cap was there. He was
"Ah cap-oppa"
"Let's go" he replied in a nonchalant tone
Tiffany beamed with radiance, and flicked her hair away from her shoulder in a diva kind of fashion
Meanwhile.....
"Niel lets go we're gonna be late" Chunji called from the car
No answer
"NIELLLLLLLLLLL"
No answer
"DANIEL ANH GET YA FAT OUT HERE"
still no answer
"DANIELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
"Just wait I'm almost done hyung" Niel replied rushing out the door fixing his hair.
Chunji was sitting in the passenger side with a very pissed off look on his face as Neil got into the car.
"Come on, I'm sorry hyung"
"Just shut up and drive we're ten minutes late already" Chunji huffed
They sat in the car, silence covered by the quiet sound of the radio
"Niel are you ok now?"
"Yeah hyung why wouldn't I be"
"Nothing don't worry"
"Hmm ok, if you say so"
When they arrived at the restaurant Niel and Chunji headed off to start working quickly as possible.
Later
"Where is Minhyuk?" Chunji grumbled setting the tables with clean plates
"Staring at Ilhoon where else" Niel replied straightening the tables
"No, I'm here" Minhyuk mumbled walking out from the kitchen
"Geez hyung why don't you confess to him already" Niel whined
"It's not that easy, besides he already has a crush on that new girl"
"How would you know?" Niel questioned
"Because he's always around her"
"So...."
"He's younger than me"
"So....love doesn't depend on age"
"He's a guy"
"Come on just cus your gay doesn't change how the world sees you, hello....have you forgotten homoually is accepted in our society now"
"It is you know" Chunji backed Niel up
Seconds later
"Helloooooo hyungs!!!!!" Ilhoon shouted entering the restaurant
"Your late" Chunji growled
"Sorry i was at the library with Kisa" he smiled
Hearing those words made Minhyuk's face go blank and feelings of sadness and rejection washed over his body and mind. Hoping Ilhoon didn't notice he walked into the kitchen to try and forget the feelings that arose every time he laid eyes on the younger boy.
"Min-hyung whats wrong?" Ilhoon asked following Minhyuk into the kitchen
"Nothing, don't worry" Minhyuk forced a smile
"Ilhoon, your late!" Mr Jang called from the counter
"We'll talk later ok hyung" Ilhoon assured Minhyuk before running out to face the boss
"Argh what was that all about" Niel groaned "why didn't you just tell him you have feelings for him"
"How many times do i have to tell you WE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE TOGETHER"
"Who's not meant to be together?" Ilhoon asked moving into the conversation
"Order up!" The chef called breaking the awkward moment
"I'll get it" Minhyuk ran into the kitchen
"Niel, whats wrong with Minhyuk he's been acting weird" Ilhoon asked showing true sincerity for his best friend.
"Maybe you should ask him yourself, later, alone" Niel nodded
"Um......ok.....sure" Ilhoon nervously smiled as Minhyuk walked out of the kitchen balancing three plates
"Hyung let me help" Ilhoon ran to help Minhyuk carry the plates of delicious food
"Not meant to be together my " Niel smirked returning to the kitchen to the kitchen to serve some more food
As the afternoon progressed the more Minhyuk tried to avoid Ilhoon, it went as usual like that up untill 8pm when Ilhoon had had-enough of the avoiding.
"Niel, why is Minhyuk avoiding me" Ilhoon asked innocently
"Well......um"
"Yes"
"Um......you see....sometimes"
"Yes hyung.....go on"
"Well...Ilhoon sometimes people have feelings for another person and it kinda stuffs up friendships"
"Minhyuk-hyung has a girlfriend?" Ilhoon stated disappointment and misery clear in his voice
"What, he does? Who told you that" Niel asked frantically
"I just can tell"
"WHAT HOW CAN YOU JUST TELL!!" Chunji barged into the conversation
"When ever i try to talk to hyung he always says he has better things to do and finds excuses to get away from me"
"NO HE DOESN'T"
"Chunji stop yelling" Niel tried to calm Chunji down
"What are you trying to say to us il" Niel continued returning his focus on Ilhoon
"Hyung please don't be mad and please please don't tell Minhyuk hyung" Ilhoon pleaded looking around to see that Minhyuk was far on the opposite side of the room serving a table.
"What is it dongsaeng tell us" Chunji coaxed
"I'm in love with Minhyuk" he whispered
"WHAT!" Niel shouted running into the kitchen to fetch Minhyuk
"NIEL WHAT DID I JUST TELL YOU!!" Ilhoon shouted grabbing Niel before he could move anywhere
"Ok i promise i won't tell him" Niel smirked heading off to the kitchen with Chunji trialling behind
"Minhyuk!" Chunji beamed
"What?! Can't you see I'm busy"to advert from Chunji's gaze
"Chanhee, table 3" the chef yelled
"Argh" Chunji grumbled
Niel approached Minhyuk
"What do you want?" Minhyuk groaned
"You need to tell Ilhoon about your feelings"
"NO! I told you already!"
"Speaking of feelings you should tell him" Chunji smirked nudging Niel as he walked past with the plates for table 3
"What are you talking abou.." Niel ly to see at the entrance of the restaurant, Bang Minsoo, the same guy that makes his heart race and fidget in his chest.
(A/n : cap doesn't know Niel's name and all knows about Minsoo is his name is CAP)
CAP's POV.
I took Tiffany to a sappy movie where she talked right the way through. Damn this girl was getting on my nerves.
Just as the movie finished she dragged me out of the theatre, into a bar where she got drunk and demanded i buy her something proper to eat so we went to the closest restaurant.
"Good evening sir what can I get you" the young boy at the counter smiled. I remember his face, he is one of Kisa's friends
"Oppa i want a vodka" Tiffany slurred
"Don't you think you drank enough" i mumbled taking out my wallet
"No, I want vodka oppaaaaaaaaa"
"I'll have a vodka cocktail and bulgogi"
"Take away or dine in" the boy asked
"Oppa can we stay?"Tiffany asked standing and forcing her head into the crook of my neck
"Oppaaaa" she mumbled again my neck slightly
"Dine in"
"Minhyuk table for two please" the boy called
We were then guided to a table by another one of Kisa's friends
Chunji's POV.
(Earlier)
The time was now about 9:45pm and all the buzz in the restaurant had died down to a couple of people quietly chatting at tables
I walked past collecting empty plates from deserted tables when i overheard Niel and Ilhoon's conversation.
"Minhyuk-hyung has a girlfriend?" Ilhoon said with a face that suggested he was on the brink of tears
"What, he does? Who told you that" Niel scream whispered
"I just can tell" Ilhoon replied blankly
'What? I have to do something!' I thought
"WHAT HOW CAN YOU JUST TELL!!" I screamed
"When ever i try to talk to hyung he always says he has better things to do and finds excuses to get away from me" a tear formed at the bottom of Ilhoon's eye
"NO HE DOESN'T" i yelped out again
"Chunji stop yelling" Niel too raised his voice
"What are you trying to say to us il" Niel continued lowering his voice again
"Hyung please don't be mad and please please don't tell Minhyuk hyung" Ilhoon glanced around.
"What is it dongsaeng tell us" i whispered leaning in closer
"I'm in love with Minhyuk" he whispered his voice very very faint
"WHAT!" Niel shouted running into the kitchen probably to tell Minhyuk
"NIEL WHAT DID I JUST TELL YOU!!" Ilhoon shouted grabbing Niel before he could move anywhere
"Ok i promise i won't tell him" Niel smirked and walked off so i obediently followed him
"Minhyuk!" I beamed
"What?! Can't you see I'm busy" Minhyuk ignored me and continued to walk
"Chanhee, table 3" the chef yelled
"Argh" i grumbled
I walked into the kitchen and collected the plates
"You need to tell Ilhoon about your feelings" is what i overheard as I walked past carrying the multiple plates
"NO! I told you that already!" Minhyuk snapped
As I came out of the kitchen carrying the plates i noticed someone familiar at the front of the restaurant talking with Ilhoon. As I moved closer i realised it was CAP so i thought maybe Niel should talk to him.
"Speaking of feelings you should tell him" i nudged Niel
"What are you talking abou.." Niel turned and stopped dead in his tracks
"Minhyuk table for two" Ilhoon shouted
I turned back to Niel father i had served the people on table 3 their food, but he was no where to be seen
"Niel where'd you go?" I turned around looking for Niel but he was no where to be seen
Minhyuk was busy serving cap and was that....Tiffany?
But then again i wouldn't expect less from the schools new kingka. Tiffany was queen b and by 'b' i mean . She was the leader if the cheer squad, the most popular, most hottest, most wanted girl in the school. She'd been with almost every popular guy in the school and i guess cap is her next victim.
I walked toward the kitchen still looking around for Niel when i heard faint whimpers coming from the staff bathroom. I wanted to see who it was, though obviously it was Niel, so i was basically going there to support him.
"Niel" i knocked lightly on the only closed cubical door
"Chanhee" he forced a smile walking out rubbing his red eyes
"Whats wrong, are you jealous of Tiffany Hwang?"
"No....I'm not" he washed his face repeatedly
"Daniel your voice says one thing however your body is saying the truth"
"I'm not jealous it just"
"My feelings are telling me i like him but I just.......i just" he stuttered
"Just what??? COME ON NEIL GO OUT THERE AND FIGURE OUT YOUR FEELINGS FOR HIM"
"He's busy"
"Tiffany??!! WHAT??!?!? NO!!!! HE ISN'T!! Did you see his face, like come on, he looks like he wants to slam her face down on the table so she'll shut the up" i tried my best to make him feel better and more confident
He finally had enough courage to go out and face him.
"Chunji table 8" the chef yelled
I quickly glanced toward table 8 the one where cap and Tiffany were seated
"Niel, why don't you take this one, my back is sore" i lied
"Niel!!" The chef called
"I dun wanna....." His voice trailed off as he walked into the kitchen
I walked back inside to see that it was a very straight-faced Minhyuk that served the bulgogi to cap and queen . When I saw what they were doing i immediately understood why Niel got upset. Tiffany was seated on cap's lap they were making out so heavily it looked like they were trying to eat off each others faces.
I don't even know why I was watching. Tiffany was the dominatrix and I could tell cap didn't give a about Tiffany and the kiss wasn't something enjoyable for him. He looks like he's the one using Tiff, eh who cares popular people are alway the same they use people until they finally find 'the one' and then 'the one' uses them.
"Hyyyyuuunnnn...." Niel's voice arose again and then abruptly stopped
All of a sudden he burst into tears and ran out of the restaurant
"Niel Niel Niel!!! Come back!!!" I ran out after him but he kept running and running and running
No use, he probably ran home crying, he is so confused about his feelings, i really want to help, but it's up to him to decide his feelings
I went back to the restaurant. I walked in and saw cap pushing Tiffany away saying she was drunk and this was a mistake. Tiffany's wails and drunk shrieks filled the air around me. Cap was desperately trying to escape Tiffany, when he finally did he ran out the door and i swear i heard him say niel's name.
CAP's POV.
His name is Neil? I heard Chanhee call it out so it must be. Tiffany was all over me, not that i cared but when I saw Niel crying i felt like someone stabbed my heart. Like it was a really disgusting feeling like one i couldn't control but it controlled me.
I pushed Tiffany off and ran out to see where he was i couldn't just sit there with that feeling. I need tot help him. Like that time i saved him from baekho i felt bad leaving him there so i stood up and helped him i don't know why. He probably had a crush on Tiffany or something. I need to explain to him,
What?
What am i saying?
Why am i even trying to run after someone that doesn't know me?
I stopped running and decided to go back to the restaurant. All these questions racking my brain. About that boy. I want to know him, i want to be friends with him, i want him to want me?
Wait what?
I suddenly have all these feelings for a guy HUH?
I'm not gay but why would I want him to like me...
As I approached the restaurant i got into the car sneakily as i watched a half sober Tiffany walk out of the restaurant being carried by another guy.
"Typical " i huffed and started the car
I drove home, the time was about 11:56pm and I had just walked straight in and plopped down on my bed. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Niel where are you?
I'm here silly

It's just I've had a lot of things going on
My cousin i pregnant with identical twins
And she just lost one a couple weeks ago
And she lost the other just early this week
And my dad's been going through lots of tests
Turns out he has piles and he has two melanomas one on each leg
But it's all ok
It's the school holidays here in Perth Western Australia my home town
