Sulli

My wife got pregnant again. I was so excited to hold Sulli for the first time. My wife became happy 

again after she lost her first baby. This new baby is totally different with the first one. She was 

amazing with her big brown eyes and curly brown hair. I felt the emptiness in my heart had been filled with her smiled. Lau Clan was rejoice. I was happy but somehow, I was sad to think of my first baby. 

Year 1518, 21th June

The truth

I went to see my father. I would want to speak the truth about everything. He was calmed which made me glad. He even asked me to join him with the other men for a hunting to celebrate Sulli. He had 

change after all. 

Year 1518, 22th June

Mystic Fall, ia High

We were supposed to go hunting but the men tied me to a tree. My father give a hatred sidelong look. He snapped at me for my failure to kill the child. I was never saw him that mad before. Even though I was my father favorite son, he gave me no spare. Then, I saw it, my father turned into a ferocious 

monster with long sharp fangs and nails. He was turning into a werewolf with sharp black eyes shone 

under the full moon. 

He attacked me hungrily. Bit and every part of my body was shredded. My legs was gone. I suffered a great loss of blood. I fainted. When I opened my eyes, I was locked in a dungeon. I never knew there was a dungeon at our mansion. Here, I can still hear Sulli laughing when she wants to play kite. I can hear she giggled with her friend even though I cannot hear what they talked about precisely. It was 

always too cold or too hot in here. Luckily, I can still see sun and moon. Now, I recalled. I have come here when I was a boy with my father. We came to visit another boy. He looked terrible that I ran out to my mum. But, I was too small to remember everything.

Dungeon

I had been here for weeks. It was terrible. I felt like dying as every hour I hear my wife and my child 

came to play. Sulli, I miss her so much. She have never meet me before. I’m dying to see her. My wife really love flower. And now, I realized that I really miss her. I want to felt the warmth of her palm 

when she touch my cheeks. I still want to taste her cooks. Now, I even started to forgot what food 

taste like. I even started to forget her beautiful long brown hair and red lips.

Dungeon

It have been years now. My father rarely came to visit me. Last night, a guy, with strong body claimed to be the future husband of my wife came, bringing me some rotten apples and bread. I was so angry 

that I lost my mind, starting to hit that guy with the silver tray that he brought to put the food. I felt 

like one day, I might lost my mind and humanity.

Dungeon

My father came today. He said that he wanted to kill me tomorrow night under the full moon. He told me the truth that he was the first child birth of Lau Family. Every first child of Lau Clan has been cursed to become a werewolf. That’s the punishment of Lau Clan for generation. Hearing that his grandfather are after him, his father took him away into the forest. He was saved but his father was not. He saw with his own eyes  that his father was being murdered terribly. Somehow, my father manage to kidnap and killed his just born youngest brother. He married to my mother before they went home years after that claiming that he was the missing youngest brother to Lau Clan. He killed all of the Lau’s family 

and even his own first baby which would be my older brother. I never knew that I had an older brother before. He told me that the boy I once saw in this dungeon was my brother. He determined to not let 

the same history to repeat to his generation. He persuaded me to tell him about the whereabouts of 

my child. But I know, He would kill her. He even persuaded me with rewards to return to my beloved 

Fale and Sulli. I refused. I determined to let Amber live.  

Amber’s father,

 Amber gasped. She couldn't believe at what she had just read. Her hands trembled. Sweat was 

showering her white milky skin. Her red lips turned pale.

"I'm from Lau clan? But, I thought Henry was the adopted son." Amber muttered.

She read the last sentences again and again. "The man who write this letter was my father. So the 

child at Liu's house was Henry hyung and the baby was me?!"

Amber collected the letters and put it on the table. Wind blew the first letter onto the floor under the bed. Amber punched a hole on the letter and tied them together. She was not realized that a letter 

went missing. 

Amber sighed. She rubbed her aching head. It had all make sense! Amber stood up and walked out the room. She had task to do. She needed to find clue of the past and the best place to started was the 

dungeon. She needed to find the dungeon! 

Henry went to his dearest sister's room when he found that Amber was nowhere in the room. That's 

when his eyes caught a white paper under Amber's bed. He picked it up and his eyes scanned it's 

content. His jaw dropped down. 

Year 1530, 25th January

The History of first child born of Lau Clan fifth generation.

The birth of the first child born of Lau family really upset the whole Lau Clan.

“We need to get rid of the first child born in this family. It will bring bad luck! You know what will 

happen to the baby, right?” Tao Lau, the grandfather of my baby with my wife, Fale Lai.

“I know father. How am I supposed to do? Fale would never want to be depart from her baby. What 

am I supposed to do?” I uttered softly. I didn’t want my wife to wake up after just giving birth to our

 baby half an hour ago.

“Take the baby by the Mystic Waterfall to be killed. We don’t want to create problem in future.” Tao 

glimpsed at the baby in the swing before he walked away. I walked toward my child. I really love the 

cute and red dimple baby that make me as a father but I know that the baby should be kill.

I brought the baby to the waterfall that evening. I didn’t want Fale to regain conscious before I kill the baby. Rubbles and sharps stone made it hard for me to proceed my way to the stream. The sound of water gushing the rock indicate that the life of the baby is nearer but my love toward this child 

became bigger. I started to doubt my action of killing an innocent baby.

“Oh, my child. Should I kill you just because you were the first child born in the family? You are 

innocent and yet your own grandfather wanted you to die. Poor child.” I stared at the twinkling and 

lovely pair of eyes.

“ I shouldn’t do this.” I made up my mind. I walked following the streaming water where I found a 

white small cottage. Smoke was coming out from the chimney as a sign that there was people living in the cottage. I smiled.

“You’ll be save child.” I thought as I walked toward the cottage with a big request and hope.

After three knock on the door, I ran away to the nearest tree I could saw, leaving my baby in front of

 the doorstep. I waited patiently before a little child, which I was not sure whether it is a boy or a girl opened the small wooden door. His/her eyes sparkled as soon as he/she laid his/her eyes on my sweet baby. The child’s parent came over after that. The father was amazed but he never forgot to wander around the house in search of me. As if he knew I was there, he shouted “I’ll take care of our child. 

Don’t worry!”

No one know, how glad I was at that time. But, I know that my father will asked for prove when I got home, so I killed a monkey on the way back home. I showed the monkey heart to him. He smiled as 

he thought that he had carry out the responsibility as the oldest family to protect Lau family. I was 

just hoping that my baby will be alright.

Year 1530, 25th January! It's Amber birthday! Just from the clue, Henry could guessed that the one 

who was being adopted was his sister, Amber! Not him!  Henry's heart beat fast. If that was the case, Amber was in great danger. He now understand what was his father motives all along for running away from them. Amber was a vampire yet the first childborn of Lau clan. Lau clan-a mysterious family that holds secrets. Henry ran out the room to find Amber before it was TOO LATE! 

‘I never knew there was a dungeon at our mansion. Here, I can still hear Sulli laughing when she wants to fly the kite. I can hear she giggled with her friend even though I cannot hear what they talked

Amber ran as fast as he could to the garden. The only places that Sulli spent time flying the kite. As 

she scanned the surrounding, Amber noticed a shadow hiding behind an oak tree at the garden. She

 stopped. Her heavy breath was steadier. 

“Who is it? Henry hyung?” Amber walked slowly toward the tree.

The person behind the tree walked out. Amber’s eyes widen. She stopped and started to walk 

backward.

“Don’t come closer.” Amber warned.

“Don’t you miss me?” Kris smiled sweetly.

“Miss you? I don’t even have time to think about the person who made me into this!” Amber shouted.

“I know you miss me. So do I. We have a lot to talk.” Kris dashed toward Amber. He hugged Amber 

tightly in his arm. Amber was furious. She punched Kris’s stomach and kicked him flying into the air. The smile on Kris face disappeared. His pupil narrowed. The color turn dark blue that churned Amber’s 

stomach.

“Don’t you dare ran away from me!” Kris voice become louder and hoarser.

“I have never disturbed you! Leave me alone! I hate you!” Amber started tearing up.

“I have never asked you to leave. I have been waiting for you to come home. I miss you.” Kris walked slowly toward Amber, hoping that she did not run away. His face turned to normal. Amber glinted at 

Kris with red eyes.

“It’s a mistake to ever know you.” Amber collected all her strength into her right hand and a red fire 

ball formed. It became bigger and bigger. Amber cast the red fire ball toward Kris with all her might. 

The red ball flew fast toward Kris. It crashed but Kris was unaffected. By the time he realized, Amber was gone.

Tears started to roll down Kris cheeks, regretting his past.
