Soon enough, it was time for us to go back to the meeting place. Everyone was pretty much on time, so  we went back to the hotel without any complications or delays.

We got in our rooms, and Rian told me she wanted to take some sleep. "Alright." I told her while I was laying on my bed. Seoul sights were so beautiful, I was still astonished by their beauty. Rian had just changed in her pyjamas when I realised that I was too hungry to wait for dinner. Rian and Angela had ordered something that had eliminated their hunger while we were on the cafeteria, unlike me. "I am gonna go get something to eat mofo. You should sleep while I am gone, otherwise I won't let you sleep when I am back!" I told Rian as I stood up.  "Why not?" she looked at me. "Cause I have so many things that I wanna talk about!" I grinned lightly and looked back at her. "Oh no, this is gonna be a long day huh?" she asked while she tossed her pillow to me.

I tossed her pillow back to her, I stood up and I got by the door. "See ya soon!" I chuckled.

As I walked out of our room, I used the elevator so that I would reach the exit in no time. The sun hit my eyes and the atmosphere was filled with a kinda warm breeze that was quite unusual for this time of the year. I couldn’t help but smile at the thought of the hospitality that seemed to be a part of everything in here; even the weather.

I walked out of the hotel’s block, and pretty soon I was walking down the streets, trying to find the KFC that Angela was babbling about seeing while we were returning to the hotel. No matter how much I loved everything about Seoul, I was a little inconvenient with the Asian cuisine and I hadn’t convinced myself to be a little more open-minded about that part yet.  A few more steps in a few more streets, and I finally found it. It was surprisingly crowded, but I didn’t mind waiting, since we had a free afternoon anyway. I got in the queue that the awaiting  customers had formed, and I patiently waited for my turn.

As the queue was slowly getting smaller, my phone rang and I shoved my hand in my pocket in order to get it out. Mark was calling me. “Hey there!” I beamed. “What’s up?”  “Everything’s cool Rosie.” Mark grinned over the phone. “But I need your help. May I ask you for a favour?” “Sure thing, go ahead.” I said and I took a step closer to the cashier’s stand. “Angela has been complaining all day about sharing her room with Amanda. She had compromised with it, but when we got back from our little excursion, she was pretty tired and she wanted to sleep, but Amanda wouldn’t let her.” He sighed. “Why would Amanda not let her sleep? It’s not like she wanted them to hang out together, is it?” I asked in confusion. Amanda never got along well with Angie, and vice versa . “Obviously not. It’s just that Amanda was talking on the phone with some friend from back home, and she wouldn’t stop laughing loudly. And after that, she kept making Angela to tidy up the room. That’s what Angela told me.” “Poor little Angie..” I exclaimed. I could empathise with how annoying it was when they didn’t let you rest. And when the annoyance was caused from Amanda’s y attitude, everything was getting magnified. “But, what is it that I can do about this?” I asked him, remembering why he called me in the first place.

“Well-“ he awkwardly paused, “I had an idea in mind. An idea that I can’t really explain-“ A loud laughter echoed through the phone. “Shut up Jared!”  Mark shouted. “I told you that you got the whole idea wrong!”  I still hadn’t understood what Mark was going to ask from me, but I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself. Plus, I really was loving it when I was hearing Jared’s laughter. “So?” I asked, still laughing a little bit. “Oh no, not you too Rosie. Guys, I am not as erted as you think that I am, really.” He sounded apologetic. “Come on Mark, I didn’t even say that I consider you a ert. Did you just nail yourself?” I couldn’t help but let out a smirk. “Argh! I am done with explaining!” he protested. “I just wanted to ask you to visit some flower shop, and get me some flowers. Can you?“ “Yeah, of course I can. What kind of flowers do you want me to buy for you?” I asked, taking a couple of steps since I noticed that the customers had moved a little bit more than expected. “Erm.. I guess a dozen of roses would do. Or do you have something else to suggest? I need your female advice my friend.” He pleaded. “I think a bunch of roses would be just fine, my friend. Even if I have no idea what it is that you want them for.” I smirked inwardly. “A dozen of roses then! Thank you in advance Rosie. I’ll see you later. ” He hung up on me before I could even answer. I shrugged inwardly, cause I figured that he just didn’t want to share his idea, which was okay by me.

Plenty of minutes later, it was finally my turn to order. I ordered two hamburgers, along with some bottles of various flavors of juices, and I then a little more waiting occurred. This was one short though, seeing as I got them and I also paid for them quickly. I asked the cashier for some information about how I would get to the closest flower shop---. Luckily, he was speaking English and he gave me understandable directions about how I’d get there.

I reached the flower shop fast, since it was located really close to KFC. I walked in and I was instantly astonished by all the beautiful scents. There were hundreds of flowers in the shop, and each one of them had a different shade, so the whole room was like a colour pallet  I walked to a clerk that was sitting nearby “Hello.” I smiled at her. “Hello Mrs. What can I do for you?” she smiled back warmly. “I would like a dozen of red roses please.” I exclaimed. “Alright, let me get them for you.” She bowed before me and then she walked to the second floor of the shop. The bowing thing that Korean people were doing was really pretty. It was emitting respect, and I really liked that.

While waiting for the clerk to come back, some fresh, pink orchids caught my attention. And orchid didn’t have the vivid scent of a rose, but it was just as beautiful. While touching its petals, I decided that I would buy some more flowers, in order to decorate and personalize our room in the hotel. “I brought you twelve of our finest roses Mrs.” The kind woman was back, holding the flowers I had ordered. “Thank you.” I smiled widely at her. “I would like to buy some more flowers, and I want your opinion about something.” “Of course. How can I help you?” she looked at me. “Well, I am living in a hotel here in Seoul, and I would like to decorate it, with a lot of flowers. What kind of flowers do you suggest me?” I flashed her a crooked smile. “Hmm… That’s a tough question! What would you say about buying two flowers from each kind? I think that would be good since choosing only a few flowers would be quite tough.” she laughed lightly and she patted my shoulder. I was caught out of guard with her warm attitude towards me, and I couldn’t help but smile awkwardly to her. “Yeah, that’s what I’ll do!” I replied.  “Okay then, let me get you those flowers.” She vanished again, quickly walking to the second floor. I stood there, waiting for her, and smiling to myself while thinking of where exactly I would place each flower.

She came back in no time, holding a big amount of flowers, but she had a frown on her face. “I brought you two of each kind of the best flowers, but this one had no pair.” She took  a blue flower out of the bouquet and she showed it to me. “What is this flower called? I don’t think I’ve seen it before.” I looked at her in confusion. It was a pretty, quite small, blue flower, that I couldn’t recall having seen before. “This is a forget-me-not, miss. They say that once upon a time, a knight gave those flowers to his lady, just before he drowned in a river.“ I smiled, and she continued. “But unfortunately, this one was the very last forget-me-not flower remaining, because all of the others were bought by a man who came here right before you.” She was still kind of frowning. “I am really sorry Mrs.” She apologized. “It’s okay, don’t worry. It doesn’t really matter, I’ll buy it even if it doesn’t have a pair.” I smiled at her and I walked to the cashier.  She spoke to the cashier in Korean, and then they both smiled at me. I had no idea what they had just said to each other, but I smiled anyway. I paid for the flowers, I thanked both of the employees and I got out of the shop.

I felt a shivering embracing me, and I sighed happily.

Chapter 1: First person stories are hard to write but your is quite good. Unfortunately, I only read 3rd person stories but you do have a decent start here. I'm sure you'll get more readers and commnets in the future :)
