Jaemi  POV

*Flashback continues*

As Youngjae finished his sentence he stood up and left as my eyes was locked on his shrinking figure as he walked further away. I felt wet droplets fall down my face, unknowingly I have started to cry. The moment he told he want to reject me it felt my whole world came crashing down, rejected mates were very rare because their wolves just can't resist each other. But somehow I have been placed in the rare rejected wolves category. The more I thought about the rejection the angrier I became, I mean what did I ever do to him? I never talked to him before!

*If he thinks we would give up so easily, his an idiot!* Chaella spoke up.

"Yep, I'm not going to give up without fight, anyway what should we do?"

*Let's just follow him around for now*

I nodded in agreement as I stood up and headed towards homeroom.

*Flashback Ends*

Yep, so basically I just followed him everywhere for the whole week, of course he did tell me to stop for the first few days but after a while I think he got the point I'll just be following him everywhere. My friends all knew he was my mate and they have full on supported me...for that I LOVE THEM!

Anyway, back to main story.

"Hey, your name is Daehyun right? I'm Jaemi, nice to meet you." I flashed him a smile.

"H-hi G-Godde..I mean Jaemi-sshi. Y-yea, I'm D-daehyun...Nice t-to meet y-y-you..." Daehyun stuttered out as he turned into a tomato.

I watched as Daehyun turned back to Youngjae and kept on talking like I wasn't here at all

"When did she started following you?"

"Well, if you were not on your holiday for the past week, then you would know."

"Why is she even following you, I mean no offence my friend. But I believe she could've chose someone waaaaay better looking."

"Yea, well apparently becuase we were mates but I rejected her. But now she's following me around," Youngjae said it with so much annoyance laced around his tone I couldn't help but feel hurt. I mean yea I know me following him around was annoying, but I want to at least know the reason why he rejected me. Being rejected without knowing the reason is the cruelest way to reject someone, you don't know what to change to fit the ideal type that your mate actually hoped for.

Deciding that I had received enough rejection pain today I waved goodbye to the boys and walked back home.

Youngjae's POV

"Dude, what the heck was that?" Daehyun interrogated me.

"Nothing, it was just a girl leaving."

"Stop pretending you're dumb, you're anything but that. Now explain."

"What do you want me to explain? I thought I alread explained everything just then."

"Why did you reject her? I wouldn't blame you if it really was someone unattractive and dumb. But seriously Goddess Jae？You gotta have some problem in your head."

I rolled my eyes in annoyance and replied back "I just don't like her ok? Now shoo!" I pushed Daehyun to the walkway and walked back into my house.

*Young, I miss my mate* my wolf Jun whined out.

"Jun, you know why I rejected her, I just don't want us both to be the ones to get hurt in the end."

*Yea, I know. But Chaella told me that they really love us.*

"That's only for now, once there's a hot boy in our school that catches her attention she'll forget all about us." Jun didn't say anything else after that, it broke my heart to say that, but I know it's true. Aren't all popular girls like that, spoilt y cheerleaders, I believe she wouldn't be any different.

*Flashback* *Youngjae POV*

I laid down next to the cherry blossom tree ready to take a short nap before class starts. Just before I drift off, I smelt an alluring scent it was a mix of peach and vanilla. I felt the presence of someone next to me and then warm fingers were brushing a few strands of hair off my forehead. I was tempted to open my eyes to see this stranger with this alluring scent but I want to know what they'll do next. I felt the presence leaning over me, the gap between our bodies were getting closer and closer finally I couldn't resist the urge to open my eyes. Leaning over me was the most beautiful girl I've ever met.

"Uhh... you know you can give me some personal distance right now..." I spoke up, she quickly bounced back into her sitting position.

"I'm very sorry about that, something just took control of me and yea...sorry. Oh and my name is Oh Jaemi, call me Jaemi if you like...." Jaemi blurted out frantically. I couldn't help but chuckle inwardly at her reaction, it was just too cute.

".....uh, hi, it's ok and my name is Yoo Youngjae?" I replied unsure if this was the reply she was actually hoping for. I looked at her closely and then I realised that she was one of those popular girls.

"Oh....I guess that she's my mate then....." Right when I knew she was one of those popular girls I knew I could never be with her. I knew that all those girls are s, even though my mate is beautiful, one day in the future I would be the one that will get hurt if I accept her. She noticed I have more to say, so she nodded her head for me to go on.

"Well, you see....I don't have any specific feeling for you, "*lies* "So I'm sorry but I Yoo Youngjae reject Oh Jaemi as my mate... So please don't talk to me again..."  with that said, I quickly stood up and walked away from her. Even though I was the one who rejected her, my heart feels empty, Jun was howling in sadness at the back of my head. After I was quite a distance away from Jaemi I turned around. With my werewolf vision I could tell she was crying.  Seeing her cry was breaking my heart, but I knew that had to be done or I'll be the one in pain in the future....

Youngjae: For ditching me for months!!

Me: hehehe *does aegyo*

Youngjae: *stares* *Aims the pan on the face* BANG

Me: MY BEAUTIFULLLLL FAAAACE!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~ YOU CRUEL MAN!!!

Youngjae: =.= *walks away*

Me: YAH YAh, come back here right now!!

Youngjae: *ignores*
