Just A Small Town Girl
Kyungsoo's POV
Is she alright?
I walked towards the Nurse Station to ask for Dr.Ho
That lady must have completely lost it, and what happened to her ankle?
Wasn't she supposed to be injured?
There something weird happening here.
Dr.Ho arrived, I quickly ran to him.
"Doctor, something is completely wrong with the patient."
"Is she awake?" He asked.
"Yes, but something is wrong with her, like really really wrong."
"What do you mean? I'll check on her"
I stopped him.
"You don't understand. I mean something is definitely wrong with her. When I arrived I saw her looking around as if she has never been to this place, She even asked me if I'm a male for pete's sake! Like she never saw a boy in her own life! And when I told her that I'd go call a Doctor she was frantic an was all like "It would be an honor to meet him"" I insanely explained mimicking the girl's voice.
Dr.Ho looked ad me like a crazy person.
"You don't believe me!?''
"Just let me check on her"
"Fine, but I told you so"
We walked to the ward.
Here goes nothing.
We entered the place and saw her staring intently at the light bulb.
"See I told you she's weird" I whispered.
"Goodmorning Miss" Dr.Ho greeted the girl.
She was startled and looked at us.
"Doctor?"
"Goodmorning Doctor! It's a honor to meet you" She ran and bowed to him.
I looked at the Dr.Ho
"See?" I mouthed.
"Goodmorning, what is your name by the way Agasshi (Miss)?" Dr.Ho asked.
"Sorry for being rude, I forgot to introduce myself." She bowed again.
"Anyeonghaseyo, My name is Choi Sojeong." She smiled and bowed politely.
"Nice to meet you Sojeong-ssi, My name is Dr.Ho, May I ask you where are you from?" Dr.Ho asked.
"I'm from Geumsong" She smiled.
Geumsong? She's from Venus? HAHAHAHA
I burst out laughing.
She looked at me like I'm insane.
I was so right when I said she's weird.
"You mean you're an Alien?" I chuckled.
Dr.Ho glared at me and continued to speak to her.
"What kind of place is that?" He asked her.
"It's a beautiful place, A place where love and unity resides. Where every person is treated equally. A place
away from danger and trouble. It's where we all are a family" She smiled.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
SHE IS CRAZY! AS IF A PLACE LIKE THAT EXIST! MAYBE IN VENUS IT DOES!
I could'nt contain myself and laughed
"Don't mind him Sojeong-ssi" Dr.Ho talked to her.
"I didn't know males behaved like this." She sounded annoyed.
"Males?" Dr.Ho asked
"Yup, in Geumsong there are no such things as males" She firmly said.
"You mean you've never seen men before?"
She nodded.
"Oww" Dr.Ho was startled.
In your face Ho!
Told ya that girl has something fishy on her!
"By the way, do you know why you're here in the Hospital?" Dr.Ho asked.
"I woke up with fractured ankle, but I cured it with Puttur Kattu, aside from that I'am oblivious about it''
Dr.Ho looked amazed
"Puttur Kattu you mean?" He asked.
(Fact: Puttur Kattu is a traditional way bone setting practice in India)
"Yep, Seonsaengnim taught it to us" She smiled.
"Oww, and by the way. You are here because Mr.Do here supposedly ran into you with his car. But now that you're fine. I believe you can call home now." Dr.Ho looked weird
She looked at him clueless.
"Car? What's a car?" She asked
I face palmed.
"A Car, You know, broom broom" Dr.Ho demonstrated making car sounds.
She tilted her head from confusion.
"Uh-oh" Dr.Ho gulped.
"What's wrong?" I faced him.
"Sojeong-ssi can you contact your relatives then?" Dr.Ho nervously smiled at her, Ignoring me.
"Contact? Relatives?" She asked.
"Ow! You can use my phone, here" Dr.Ho handed her.
She stared at it for a moment.
We were just looking at her.
She started to shake it, and knock on it.
"What is this?" She asked.
The phone lighted up as she accidentally pressed the home button.
"Wow" She smiled.
"Is this a fallen star too?" She beamed at us.
"Sojeong-ssi, Excuse us. We need to talk for a moment"
She nodded at continued to explore the phone like a child playing with it.

We walked out the room and went to his office.
"I told you something is wrong with that Lady" I hissed.
"I don't understand, She remembers everything about herself, but she's clueless of some things." Dr.Ho looked frustrated.
I looked at him as he was typing in his computer.
"Retrograde Amnesia" He mumbled.
"She is suffering from Retrograde Amnesia, People affected with Retrograde Amnesia have trouble and inability recalling the past before the amnesia started. However, they can create,form and recall memories from the point of amnesia and forward. It can be caused by a severe blow to the head like the car accident or a nasty fall. Parts of the brain where the past memories are stored are damaged and cannot be acces ny the brain anymore, thus causing the amnesia." He explained tho he still looked unsure.
"But something is wrong with her" He added.
"I just can't point it out" He continued.
"So what are we gonna do now?" I asked.
"You, Mr.Do is responsible for her as of now. Since we have no one to turn her to, you are the only one legal and responsible for her" He explained.
I frowned.
"Are you serious?" I sighed.
"I'll study her state, just be responsible of her as of now. I'll call you if something comes up"
"No no no no no" I cooed.
"The plan was, wait for her to wake up, settle things, then wola Everything should be alright!" I panicked.
"Change of plans then, She wakes up, She has Amnesia, You take care of her, I do my job. Wola We're all alive"
This Doctor is sarcastic as an .
"You can rather be responsible of her or be in prison, Your choice"
I sighed.
"Fine" I walked out and went to the ward.

She was still playing with the phone like it was the most precious thing ever.
Aish
"You wanna eat?" I blurted.
"Here, Pizza" I opened the box and grabbed myself some.
She looked at me and watch me ate.
"It's rude to stare at people when they eat Miss Sojeong" I glared at her.
"Cheseonghamnida" She bowed.
"It's just that I have never ate Pizza before"
"You never had Pizza?" I looked at her in disbelief.
Has she been living under a rock?
"Here have some" I passed her one.
She stared at it.
"You just bite chew chew and swallow"
"Ohh, Kamsahamnida" She smiled and ate.
"Wowww! This is delicious!" She cheered and continued to eat some more.
That's Pizza to you lady!
She kept on eating ti'll the box was empty.
"Kamsahamnida" She bowed.
"By the way, Sorry for being rude but what is your name Mister?" She asked.
"My name is Do Kyungsoo" I gave her my famous smile.
"Well, Thanks for the pizza Kyungsoo-ssi" She bowed.
Does she always bow to everyone like this?
