Prom? Kim Jongin... Kai

Eunjoo POV

"Eunjoo-ah!" my friend yelled. I turned around with books in my hands. My friend was running full speed towards me, jumping up and down like she just saw an idol or something

"Wae?" I asked her. She jumped on me, laughing and smiling

"Wae?!" I asked again, since she was too happy to answer me the first time. She opened , but all that came out was screaming

"Ow.." I covered my ears "Calm down and tell me what happened" I instructed her. Her smile didn't disappear but got bigger and wider

"Kai..." I covered . I didn't need to know anymore information. Kai, Kim Jongin. That's what every girl talks about... Kim Jongin. The bad boy of the school. He's even more popular than the kingkas... if that's even possible. Without warning, my friend dragged me to the window. I looked out and all these girls were screaming, fangirling and following Kai around. I rolled my eyes. This was so annoying! So what? He may be good looking and badass... but... psh! He's just a guy, a really good looking guy. Eunjoo~! What are you thinking?

"Ayy, what's wrong with you?" my friend nudged me

"What?" I asked confused

"Why aren't you screaming? Ok, not screaming, but why aren't you looking at him lovingly?" she asked me. Ok, what kind of question is that?

"Why aren't YOU behaving like a normal person?" I questioned her

"I am behaving like a normal person! Screaming and fangirling is a part of life!" she told me. I rolled my eyes and continued to look at all of those crazy girls

"It's just that, you like bad boys. And Kai is a smokin HOT bad boy! I just don't get it..." she crossed her arms across her chest

"Kai isn't my type of bad boy" I reasoned. She scoffed

"What kind of reason is that?!" she scolded me

"A good reason! I like the type of bad boy who looks and acts cool..."

"Kai looks and acts cool" my friend interrupted me. I gave her a look and continued on

"... but has a kind heart and is romantic" I finished. She gave me a crazy look

"Honey, no bad boy out there can be bad AND romantic at the same time. That's just not how our society works" she replied. It was silent between us but we could still hear the girls yelling. I turned to my friend and she had her thinking face on

"I-I just don't get you. A bad boy being romantic? Nope, not possible!" she randomly said

"I thought we got off the topic" I mummbled to myself. I looked at the clock and grabbed my friend's hand

"Let's go. We are going to be late!" I informed her

"But..."

"No, lets go..." I urged her

It was the middle of math class and we are learning about factoring trinomials. I just finished today's question and I felt proud of myself! Suddenly, the door swung open, making a BOOMing noise. I looked up, completely shocked. There standing at the door was the almighty, bad boy Kai. He looked around the classroom as if he was looking for someone. I knew it didn't concern me so I looked back down, minding my own business. I heard footsteps coming my way, and I didn't think anything about it. I thought that Kai was going to someone near me... but I was dead wrong. I felt a tight grip on my wrist, pulling me away from my desk, then the classroom, and then the school

"Yah! Let go of me!" I punched Kai's arm as hard as I could, but he didn't budge. I stopped trying since it was useless. The direction Kai was taking me was going straight to the school garden. But, why was he taking me there?

"Can you just tell me why you took me out of class?" I asked him

"Just wait" he said, with absolutely no emotion in his voice, what's so ever! I groaned. The feeling of his hand on my wrist started to feel uncomfortable and it started to sting a bit. Once we reached the garden, he let go. I rubbed my wrist, trying to ease the pain. I looked up and glared at him. Not only did he make me mad by dragging me without my permission, but he also hurt me in the process. Who wouldn't be mad?

"Did you need to talk to me? If you do, then what is it?" I asked him coldly. He didn't respomd. I scoffed

"If you have nothing to say to me, then I'll be on my way" I informed him. I started walking away, thinking how obsured it was that he just dragged me out and now says nothing. What a waste of my time

"Will you go to prom with me?" he blurted, out of the blue. I stopped in my tracks. I turned around and faced him. I could not believe what I was hearing. All of that just to ask me to prom...

"No" I replied, and went back to my classroom, when I got pulled back by Kai

"Let me go!" I demanded. Kai just looked pissed off

"I try to be romantic and you say no?" he said in a low, deadly tone. I didn't flinch at all. There was no need to, I had my rights

"Romantic? You call pulling me out of my classroom in the middle of the lesson, dragged me here against my will, and didn't tell me why or where you were taking me! Then you ask me to go to prom with you? Even though you did ALL of that to me?! You call that romantic?!" I yelled at him, letting out all my emotions that I was feeling right now. Kai remained the same, which made me even more mad!

"I asked you in the middle of a garden, full of flowers! How is that not romantic?" he questioned me. It was unbelievable! I gave him one more hard glare and turned away, but got pulled back by Kai again

"No, answer me" he demanded

"Did you not just hear me?" I questioned him back

"I heard you just... give me a different reason!" he begged. There was a different vibe coming from him. Something I've never seen before from him

"Give me a different reason why you said no"

"I just don't like you. You think you're so cool and you act so arrogant! I hat that in a guy" I confronted him

"Then what do you like in a guy?"

"I like bad boys, but not like you. They also have to be kind hearted and be romantic, but not the kind of romantic... like this, if you even call this romantic" I told him. I felt my anger go down and I was calmer, but I was still tense. Kai just stood there not doing or saying anything

"Since you have nothing to say, I'll be going now" I left the garden and entered my classroom again, Kai not stopping me this time. When I entered the classroom, the teacher stopped teaching and gave me a stern look. I bowed to him

"Sorry it won't happen again" I promised him *At least, I hope it doesn't happen again*

"It better not happen again. Just go sit in your seat" he told me. I bowed again and quickly sat in my seat

Prom night came, and of course I went. How could I miss prom? It's like a once in a life time chance! Sadly, I didn't have a date, but neither of my friends did either so we all went in a group. I found it more comfortable that way. I went inside with a white strapless dress

It was a simple dress but I wanted it that way. I didn't want too much attention like... other girls here are trying to do. Me and all my friends were showing off our dance moves on the dance floor even though we weren't that good of a dancer. An hour past since prom started and everyone was having a blast! But for some reason, I couldn't see Kai at all. Pabo Eunjoo! Why are you thinking about him? Thinking about that guy will only bring your mood down. After a few songs, my thought about Kai went to the back of my head... for now. All of a sudden, the music stopped and the lights turned off. The only lights that were on where the ones on the stage. Screams were heard when Kai stepped onto the stage. I rolled my eyes when he took the microphone and started talking

"Hey guys! I hope you are enjoying prom. I want to end this night with a little performance for you guys" Kai's deep voice echoed in the room. Everyone clapped and music started. Kai started off dancing to hip hop, then the music changed to a ballad type. I have to admit, Kai was moving very gracefully... very mesmerizing... Then the music changed again but this time, Kai didn't stay on the stage. He left the stage, still dancing, but into the crowd. I couldn't help think that he was coming towards me. To my luck, he did! Oh God, what is he gonna do? When Kai danced his way over to me, there was a huge circle of people surrounding us. I just stood there awkwardly when Kai was now dancing around me in circles. I tried to fight back the smile that was creeping in my lips. To be honest, I always wanted someone to do this to me! But I never imagined the one dancing would be Kai... Kai stopped dancing and then all of a sudden, he left. I was left there dumbfounded. I was about to leave when Kai came back with a boquet of roses. He danced his way back to me and then kneeled. The lights turned off and the main light was on us.

"Eunjoo... I know that I'm a jerk and a bad boy and I'm not very romantic... but I hope this romantic scene is romantic enough for you. Eunjoo-sshi, I really do like you so will you please go to prom with me... even though we are already at prom" he confessed. Who could say no to all of this? It was very tempting to say no and see how he would react but I'm not that mean

"Sure Kai..." I replied. Kai had the biggest smile on his face, which made me smile too. He took me to the dance floor where the last song was being played for the night. I put my hands around his neck and he put his hands on my waist. It was a fun time, dancing with him. He was so graceful and a very good dancer. He suddenly pulled me close and whispered in my ear

"I told you I can be romantic"
