Ding dong

I groaned in annoyance. I rolled over to the other side of my bed

Ding dong

I groaned again. I took my pillow and covered my ears

Ding dong

"Make it go away!" I yelled

Ding dong

"Aish!" I finally got up. I looked at the clock

6:30am

"I don't want to go to school!" I complained. Suddenly, my phone rang

"What?" I asked at the called, annoyed

"Why aren't you up yet? We are going to be late to school!" my friend yelled at me through the phone

"Aigoo~ so loud. I don't want to go to school! What are you going to do about it?" I challenged them. The line was cut off on the other end. 

"Mwahya..." I looked at my phone and closed it "Looks like they gave up!" I layed back down on my bed. Using my super sharp hearing, I heard the lock to my door unlock. My eyes shot wide open *OH !* I quickly got out of bed and raced to my door. Footsteps raced up the stairs. I slammed my door shut and I head my friend slam into the door. He shook the handle and banged on the door

"Lay go away!" I yelled through the door

"Not until you come to school with me!" he yelled back. Ugh, what is with this guy?! So annoying... but then again, it's kind of cute. I love how he does this every morning

"Can I please just stay home for today?" I begged him

"No can do ~~~~~! We have exams today!" I was literally about to cry. I really don't want to go to school now! Using his strength, Lay broke through the door and I flew back

"~~~~~! Are you ok?" he came and helped me up

"NO!" Lay picked me up and dusted me off... if I had any dust on me... I took Lay's hand into mine

"Lay!!! I don't want to go to school!" I begged him, using my aegyo power. It looked like Lay was going to give in

"..."

"Lay, I really don't want to go!" I whined

"Too bad missy, not get up an get ready.  I'll be waiting downstairs"

"Neh umma!" Lay turned around and I stuck my tongue out. I pushed him out of my door and got ready.

"Ready?" Lay asked as I got downstairs. I greeted my 2 friends and I nodded, heading out on our way... I went with the rest friends. But my attention wasn't on them. I could barely notice them. Even if I was talking to my friends Miyoung and Soomin, my mind was on Lay. He is so sweet! Waking me up in the morning and making sure I go to school and also walking with me. I wish I had a boyfriend like him. Actually, I want him to be my boyfriend... but that's probably not going to happen, he only sees me as a friend

Lay POV

When I heard ~~~~~'s door close behind me, I smiled

"Silly girl..." I said to myself. I shoved my hands in my pockets and walked down the stairs. I sat on the couch, along with ~~~~~'s best friends, Miyoung and Soomin.

"So did you ask her?" Miyoung asked

"What? To prom? No, not yet..." I replied

"What? That's why we came here!" Soomin complained

"Sorry! I just don't know how to ask her!" I confessed. Man, I really want to ask her to prom, but how? I don't want to just ask her. I want to ask her in a way that she can remember it forever...

"Are you sure ~~~~~ likes me? She doesn't act like it..." I asked her friends. Both Soomin and Miyoung came up to my the other day and told me that ~~~~~ likes me. Boy, I was estatic! So lately, I have been observing on how ~~~~~ acts around me. She acts like any other of her friends, nothing more, nothing less. I don't know if her friends are telling the truth are lying...

"YES! We are positive! She had a major crush on you! She just doesn't want to make it obvious" Soomin said

"You know what you need to do?" Miyoung said

"What?"

"Grow some balls and ask her!" by the time I was going to answer back, I heard ~~~~~'s door open and ~~~~~ came into sight

I was sitting at my desk, a pencil in one hand and the other hand curled up in a ball, staring down at a blank sheet of paper

"What. Am. I. Going. To. Do." how the hell am I supposed to ask her?!

"You should stop beating yourself up" Kris sat down next to me, and the rest of Exo-m sat down

"Ok, you know what you should do?" Chen asked. I shook my head. Xiumin pulled me close to him, whispering in my ear. Through his explanation on how I should ask ~~~~~ to prom, I smiled. It was the perfect idea! I pulled away and looked at the Exo-m members

"I love you guys so much!" I was overfilled with excited emotions

"You can thank us later when she says yes"

~~~~~ POV

I got a letter from Lay, saying to stay at my locker to wait for him. So I opened my locker and got stuff out that I needed to take home

"~~~~~-ah!" I heard my name being called. I spun around and my day just got a lot brighter! Lay was running at me, like he was excited to tell me something

"Lay, are you ok?" I asked him when he stopped in front of me, panting, both hands on his knees

"Yeah... I'm fine..."

"Have some water..." I handed him my water bottle. Lay gladly took it and started drinking. I stared at him in awe. How can someone look like a God by just drinking water?! I cleared my throat and looked away before Lay notices anything

"Here you go, thanks!" Lay handed me back my water and gave me a smile that showed his dimples

"Did you need to tell me something?" I asked him

"Oh yeah! That's right... um..." Lay was hesitant

"Is it a secret? Cause I promise I can keep a secret!" Lay still seemed hesitant

"C'mon Lay! You can trust me right?" Finally, Lay gave in

"Ok, ok. Promise me you can't tell Miyoung!" ... Miyoung? ... Is this about Miyoung? ... Why would he talk about Miyougn?! My heart fell to the pit of my stomach. The terrible realization hit me hard. Oh God... does he like Miyoung?

"I-... I promise"

"Ok well... I want to ask Miyoung to prom, and I need your help" Lay begged. The reality hit my hard. I just guessed that he liked Miyoung, but hearing it was all too painful

"Ok, I'll help you..." What else can I do? Lay is my friend and I don't want to let him down. I mean, that's what friends are for, helping each other in time of need. I have to be happy for him... It's the least I can do, now that Lay's heart is with another woman

"Thank you! You are the best friend ever!" Lay sighed and sign of relief and he pulled me in a hug

"Yeah... no problem..."

I walked home today, so depressed. I haven't felt so miserable before in my entire life. Maybe if I took the first move, Lay could have been with me. He could have fallen in love with me instead of Miyoung, but that wasn't the case. I can't be so selfish. Lay's heart was now with Miyoung... and I can't do anything about it except cheer him on

"So what are we going to do?" I asked Lay over the phone

"Starting tomorrow, we are going to start learning a dance to a flashmob" Lay explained. I raised my eyebrow *A flashmob? Wow, creative...*

"Where are you going to perform  it? How many people are doing it?" I asked him

"Exo-m and Soomin. I was thinking of doing it in front of the school" he said. Ugh! I felt so jealous! Now I really wish I made the first move...

"Unless that's a bad idea!" Lay quickly said, since I didn't respond

"A-Ani! I think it's really cute... we'll start at 5 tomorrow? The usual spot" I suggested

"Perfect! Thanks ~~~~~! You're the best!" Lay exclaimed and hung up. I also hung up and let out a sigh. I puckered my lips and on my teeth

I arrived at the studio at 4:50, right after school. I arrived early since I wanted to stretch before hand. I haven't danced in a while, I might be a little rusty at this. 5:00 and no one arrived yet *Where are they?*30 minutes have passed and no one had come yer. Well, since everyone ditched me, I turned my music on. I dance to 4minutes 'What's your name'. This actually might be  agood work out. 

I finished the dance off with a pose and looked in the mirror. I wasn't satisfied with my performance. I was still rusty on my moves, so I practiced over and over again until all my moves were precise and accurate. I went through the song over again for the 5th time and I finally got every move right, with no mistakes. By now, I was sweating. This song was hard to dance to, especially with no breaks. I breathed hard and sat on the floor, taking a water bottle from my bag. I stayed over for another 30 minutes and decided to leave *I can't believe they stood me up...* I was beyond pissed. First they tell me to come and now they don't show up. I reached for the door when the door handle opened by itself and there showed the people who were supposed to come hours ago. I looked at them. They were all smiling and sweating a bit

"Hey ~~~~~!" Lay greeted me, as if he did nothing wrong. I stared at them a little longer. Exo-m and Soomin came in the practice room and started stretching. I scoffed *Are the serious right now?* I rolled my eyes and just left

"Wait! ~~~~~!" Lay called out. I ignored him and kept on walking. Lay grabbed my arm and pulled me back, turning me around

"~~~~~, what's wrong?" Once again, I scoffed

"What's wrong? Hmm, lets see. Well, for one you guys are late. Second, you didn't tell me you were going to be this late. Now you guys are acting like it means nothing to you. What about me? I was here for over an hour!" I scolded him

"I'm sorry... we had... something to do! I really am sorry! I'll make it up to you!" Lay apologized. I was still mad at him, but I decided to stay... since I was a good friend. Lay was teaching me the dance... but, everyone else was already practicing *Weird, do they already know the dance?* He showed me the final move of the dance. I think I got it all down so I started practicing by myself. Then, when I knew all the moves by heart, Lay gathered everyone together and told us where we were going, how we are going to come in, and who does where. I was starting out the whole dance, and everyone came in after me. When Lay stands beside Miyoung, close to the end, Lay is going to jump in and dance with us. I must say, it was a really good idea, but I can't help but feel so frickin jealous! Why does he  have to be so romantic...

"Ok guysm lets try again!" Lay instructed. Once again, I started out in the middle, dancing by myself. Then Soomin came in and then Exo-m. I admit, I was a little tired from dancing nonstop, but this was a fun dance. Lay is a genius for making this dance up. In the middle of the dance, Lay jumped in and also started dancing

"Good job guys! I think we can do this tomorrow!" Lay exclaimed

"Eyy?! Tomorrow? Isn't that too... early?" I asked unsure

"Ani! Everything will go perfect! See you all tomorrow!" Lay yelled and ran out. Soon everyone else left too. I stayed longer, practicing the dance over and over again, until it was perfect. I knew this was important to Lay, so I should do good

"Aigoo~! So  tired!" I collapsed on the floor

"Can't wait for tomorrow..."

The next day, we met up early so we can get ready for the flashmob. When we were ready, Lay went to go get Miyoung. The rest of us waited outside. I was a little nervous for this since it was like my first time performing in front of a large crowd. I saw Lay come out with Miyoung by his side. I was very envy of her right now. They look really good together... Lay looked at me and nodded his head. Well, time to start. I walked forward and the music started playing. I started dancing and everyone looked my way, including Miyoung, which was a good thing. Then Soomin joined me and later on Exo-m also joined. I kept glancing at Miyoung and Lay. Lay was smiling and Miyoung looked like she was enjoying the show. She looked really surprised when Lay jumped in and also started dancing. The whole performance was going perfect until someone messed it up. Everyone started doing a different dance. Soomin took my hand and pushed me out of the group, and Miyoug replaced me. I was left, dumbfounded. The continued to dance while I was just watching them, not knowing what's going on. Near the end of the song, Lay was dancing towards me, something behind him. He then kneeled infront of me and took a rose from behind his back. My heart was pounding against my chest

"~~~~~..." Lay said, as the music got softer

"Will you go to prom with me?" he asked. My mouth was wide open. What? He's asking me?! But I thought... I looked at Miyoung and she just shook her head. I looked back at Lay. Ugh, how can I refuse him?

"Yes, I will" I agreed. Lay frinned, showing his dimples. He got up from the ground, gave me the rose, and hugged me. Everyone that saw, which was probably most of the school, applauded. I pulled away from Lay and gave him a look

"What was that?" I aske him

"What?" Lay was obvoisly confused

"All of this! I thought you were going to ask Miyoung..." Lay just laughed

"I did that to confuse you! ~~~~~, I know you like me" Lay leaned in forward so that our faces were just inches away, causing me to blush like mad

"So... you like me or not?" Lay asked raising one brow

"I-I do like you" my face turned as red as a tomato

"Hehe~" Lay hugged me again "I knew it! So will you be my girlfriend?" Lay asked out of nowhere

"Eh?"  I looked at him. All the playfullness disappeared from his eyes and was replaced by seriousness

"Be my girlfriend..." I smiled

"Mhmm, I'll be your girlfriend"

Soo... this is my Lay story!! ^^ have you guys heard Wolf? Probably did >< really love the song! its different and to be honest, not one of their best songs... mianhae
