Bom and Jjangoo were at the kitchen discussing 2NE1's schedule when Chaerin and Minji came out of Dara's room.

Both girls were wearing long faces as they sit on the chair.

"Is Dara nuna sleeping?" Jjangoo asked.

"Nope." Minji replied, putting her elbow on the table and leaning her chin on her hand.

"She wants to be alone that's why we're here." Chaerin explained.

They heard the doorbell rang.

"Who could that be?" Bom thought out loud.

"Where's Youngbae oppa by the way." Chaerin asked.

The two girls noticed that he was no longer around.

"He just left a couple of minutes ago." Bom said. "Maybe that's him again. Maybe he left something."

"I'll go check." Jjangoo stood up and headed to the living room.

"Poor unnie," Minji said frowning. "She still hasn’t eaten anything."

"I'll bring her a glass of milk later." Bom said.


"Uhh, girls." They heard their manager called.

They all went to the living room.

"Jiyong oppa!" Minji and Chaerin said at the same time.

Bom kept knocking at Dara's room but she wouldn't answer.

"Dara, Jiyong's here." She called. "C'mon."

"Dara he's here so that you two can have a talk."

Jiyong put his hand on Bom's shoulder.

"Let me." He said.

She made way for him.

He knocked on the door. "Dara-ah, baby it's me."

"Please open up." He begged. "We need to talk."

After more than ten minutes of knocking and begging, still no answer from Dara.

"Jiyong-ah, it's getting late." Jjangoo said. "You can come back tomorrow."

He turned to them.

"I'm sorry but I want to resolve this tonight." He said. "Can I stay for awhile and take my chances."

The girls and the manager exchanged glances.

"Okay," Jjangoo said. "But just until midnight."

Jiyong nods his head. "Thanks."

Because of an internal issue going on, Hyun Suk already asked the producer of MNET to give 2NE1 a day or two to not film 2NE1 TV episodes.

All cameras in 2NE1 dorm are turned off.

This is one of the reasons why Jjangoo allowed Youngbae and Jiyong inside the girls’ dormitory.
Boys are strictly prohibited in 2NE1's dorm.
Jjangoo’s routine is to make sure that the girls are all okay before leaving them alone.
For tonight he has to stay late because of Dara and Jiyong’s issue.

"Jiyong-ah," He said looking at his watch.

The two guys are in the living room watching TV.

Jiyong turned to him. "Ne?"

"It's almost midnight." He said. "I don't think nuna will come out."

Jiyong nods his head looking disappointed.

"I think I should go then." He said quietly.

“I’ll drive you back to your dorm since you let Namguk hyung leave first." Jjangoo offered.

"Okay."

Jjangoo stood up from the couch. "I'll just check something first before we leave."

Jiyong turned off the television and stood up to stretch.

He heard a door shutting so glanced to where it's coming from.

To his surprise, he saw Dara standing in front of her room.

He can tell that she just woke up from her sleep.

Her eyes widened in shock when she saw him.

It's like time stood still for them.

They were staring at each other not saying anything nor moving.

Jjangoo suddenly shows up.

"Let's go-" He paused when he saw Dara outside her room.

She glanced at his manager.

Jiyong could tell that her senses came back from the way her body jerked.

 "Nun-" Her manager’s voice trailed off when he saw her quickly turning around to open her door.

Jiyong was quick to his feet.

He tried to prevent her from going back into her room.

"Dara, wait." He said breathlessly while blocking the doorway with his arm.

She glared at him as she tries to remove his arm from her way.

"Go away!" She hissed.

"Please, let's talk." He begged. "Give me a chance to explain."

She tried to push him away.

"Dara, please."

"No, I don't want to talk to you!"

"Please."

Dara's eyes start to form tears while pushing him aside.

When Jiyong saw that, he was taken aback.

He froze and Dara took this chance to get in her room and close the door.

But Jiyong was quick enough to block the door.

He gently pushed his way inside the room, surprising Dara.

Jjangoo was watching the whole scene with his mouth hanging open.

Jiyong closed the door from behind.

"What the hell are you doing inside my room, Jiyong?!" Dara yelled. "Get out!"

He took a step closer to her but she retreated.

"Dara, please listen to me first." He pleaded. "I promise after you hear me out, I'll leave."

She gave him a piercing look.

"Please leave, there's nothing to talk about." She said sternly while wiping her tears.

"I said I'll leave after we talk." He said quietly as he walked closer to her.

She crossed her arm over her chest still glaring at him.

"Talk about what, Jiyong?" She hissed. "You mean you want me to listen to all your lies?"

"The signs were already there. How could I've been so blind?" She continued.

Jiyong looked at her puzzled. "Dara what are you talking about?"

"KIKO!" She snapped. "All this time I was wondering why you're acting different since you came back from Japan. Your mood swings. All the gifts."

She scoffed. "Now I know. It's because you're guilty of something."

Jiyong's eyes widened. "Dara please, Kiko is just my friend. We have nothing going on."

He tried to get closer to her but she pushed him away.

"Get out! I don't believe you! I don't want to see you!" She cried.

She kept pushing him but Jiyong held her hands.

"Please Dara."

"No!" She screamed. "Go away! You.... You cheater!"

"Now Dara, that’s enough." Jiyong raised his voice.

They heard a knock.

That's when Dara realized, he had locked the door.

"Dara? Jiyong?" They heard Bom's voice calling. "Is everything alright there?"

"Yes nuna." He answered. "We're just talking."

Dara burst out crying while trying to release herself from Jiyong's hold.

He watched her helplessly.

"The ring. What's the meaning of the ring?" She asked not looking at him.

"It's not from me. She had a friend bought it for her." He explained.

Dara laughed out loud. "Nice one, Jiyong."

She looked straight in his eyes. "What's your relationship with her?"

"She's just a close friend to me, Dara. Like what Youngbae is to you."

"Is that all? Is that what she also thinks about you?"

Jiyong's expression started to change.

It's an expression Dara could easily recognize, his shaken look.

"Y-yes." He stuttered.

Her eyes widened. "You're lying to me, Jiyong."

He was caught off guard.

"Alright. S-she said she likes me."

There was a brief moment of silence as he watched Dara's reaction.

She ran her fingers through her hair, not looking at him.

"Tell me when your friendship started." She said.

Jiyong narrated to her how their friendship began and why he never mentioned Kiko to her before.

He waited for her to respond but all he got was a smirk from her.

"What did you say when she said she likes you?" She asked for confirmation.

Jiyong shrugged his shoulders. "I told her that I only see her as a friend. That's all."

"And then?"

He furrowed his eyebrow. "What do you mean 'and then'?"

Dara gave him the look that he dreaded most. The 'I-know-there's-more' look.

"Nothing happened after that?" She asked, squinting her eyes.

Jiyong couldn't help but look away from her gaze.

"Nothing." He quietly answered.

Dara blinked.

"Oh my God, something did happen." She whispered.

He remained quiet, still not looking at her.

"What happened, Jiyong?" She asked in a shaky voice. "Tell me!"

He looked at her only to find the hurt in her eyes doubled.

"Nothing happened, Dara." He said, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

"No, don't you dare lie to me Jiyong!" She raised her voice. "I had enough!"

He was surprised at her rage.

This is the first time he saw Dara this angry.

He just realized now the consequences of his stupid actions.

This is the moment where he really felt that everything about them is bound to fall apart.

"She..." He paused and looked at her with regret in his eyes. "She kissed me."

Dara felt her legs wobble from shock.

He tried to grab her arm but she slapped his hands away.

She let out a scoff that scared him.

She tried to reach for the chair behind her and sat quietly staring in space.

For the first time in their relationship, Jiyong didn't know what to say or do.

"D-did you kiss her back." Dara asked him calmly.

He didn't answer.

She swallowed the lump that was building in .

"Dara-"

"Please leave." She cuts him off.

"Dara." He was going to approach her but she gave him a sharp look.

Behind does angry eyes he could still see the pain and hurt that he had caused her.

It was deeper than before. Deeper than what he saw years ago.

"Go!" Her voice thundered the room.

He saw a tear escaped her eyes.

It scared him.

It was not her loud voice or her rage that rattled him but the tears that she shed.

With a heavy heart he turned around and submitted to her request.

Bom, Chaerin, and Jjangoo were waiting for Jiyong in the living room.

He looked at them apologetically.

"I'm sorry to keep you up." He said lowering his gaze.

Nobody answered.

He glanced at Jjangoo who was still in shock from what he witnessed earlier.

"I'm ready to go now." He told him.

The manager nods his head and stood up from the couch.

The girls walked them to the door.

Jiyong bowed to them before leaving.

He was surprised to see Bom glaring at him.

He assumed that they heard their conversation.

At the hall, Jiyong and Jjangoo silently walked together.

They both heard footsteps chasing them.

"Jiyong-ah!" Bom called.

They both turned around.

"I need to talk to you for a sec?" She said.

He nods his head.

"Jjangoo, you go first," Bom told the manager. "This won't take long."

When the manager was no longer in sight, Bom turned to face Jiyong with a glare.

She pushed him hard against the wall.

Then she punched him on the shoulder making him winced in pain.

"You stupid jerk! I heard everything!" She hissed. "I warned you before about breaking her heart."

She continued hitting him all over his body.

Jiyong just allowed her thinking he deserved all of it.

"Now look what you've done to her!" She continued scolding him.

"You're no better that the man who hurt her before!"

Bom stopped and took a deep breath.

With his back against the wall, Jiyong slides down into a sitting position.

He covered his face and what happened next is not what Bom was expecting.

Jiyong started crying.
