The Telltale Burn Book
Description
TNE Millow High School's own personal burn book. What does it have in it, specifically? Oh, about every single piece of information you will ever find out about anybody attending there (no, more like eight certain people).
now, before we get anything really established, let me introduce you to the…ah, different types of people at TNE.
- the popular kids that know they’re popular and dedicate their lives to partying:
.kim sunggyu
.lee sungyeol
.the rest that aren’t exactly important atm
- the bunched up group of punk/emo/goth. apparently they’re “different” but essentially they all wear black and hate people, so they’re pretty much the same. they mostly do their own stuff and hope school ends before they have to kill someone while all they really want to do is go home and sleep:
.lee howon (hoya, more or less) [it’s a long story on his part and he stays shut about it]
.kim myungsoo (when he gets really lazy and doesn’t want to say words with multiple syllables, he tells people his name is ‘L’)
.there isn’t really anybody else tbh
- the happy-go-luckies. they dedicate their lives to making things harder for everybody else and attempting to convince the world that “we all love each other” (lol no)
.nam woohyun
.jang dongwoo
.everybody does everything possible to avoid them, so nobody else is really in this group
then the only other “well-known” group isn’t actually a group, not in a lot of people’s pov. it’s lee sungjong and ryu hwayoung. they’ve been together since, like, the second grade and nobody has ever witnessed them apart. (legend says that they’re cursed with each other. idk, nothing really makes sense at this school anyways.) sungjong doesn’t really give a about anything (including his girlfriend) and hwayoung acts like she has all the time in the world to do everything.
[they’re not recommended as people to befriend btw, but neither is any of the people on the list above so never mind.]
as for me, you don’t need to know who I am. for now, though, just stick to calling me finite.

basically, I've wanted to write something like this after my gossip girl obsession about one or three years back but I never got to it...but now that I actually remember about that topic after looking up old chuck/blair videos on youtube & write fanfics, why not tackle it now?
and yes, this is modeled after gossip girl. somewhat, not really. finite's the gossip girl (technically dan), the person writing this "burn book" that isn't really a burn book but kind of. but in this au, nobody really learns of it.
(if you look up what "telltale" means, you'll probably get the connection with why this story's called that exactly).
what I was actually contemplating about for the longest time was whether or not to rate this 'M', but after I wrote it all on a whim (I was really, really pissed off the first few dates..) I came to realize how much...word profanity it had. It honestly didn't mean to come out that way. so yeah. and it didn't even come out the way that I planned for it to, so it's not really...that...good.
oh right and warning guise, if you aren't fond of stories completely ting on your infinite bias, you might not want to read this lol
(I hate the fact that I have to write the tags and spoil half the fun, but I kinda did it anyways.)
